Runnin' For Miles (Open)

The leaves crunched under his feet. He was running....but this time on the planet Endor. Not from anyone in particular (hopefully) bt just to exercise. He avoided branches, jumped over roots, and dodged trees. He came up on five miles, and slowed down. He put his hands on his sides and started to breath heavier. Pony unhooked his water container from his vest then unscrewed the cap. He began to drink, only taking a few sips, he had to keep the rest for later.

"C'mon Ponyboy, you only ran bout five miles." He said aloud. The sweat dripped from his forehead only to be wiped off by his dirt covered arm.

He regained his breath and decided to look at the nice nature.

"Very beautiful...like me." He said smiling at his own sentance.

Such a self loving boy, but he was happy and fit, that was all that mattered...well and being friendly...

Since the wars began, Hakora had to flee his home of Alderaan. He decided to hide out on Endor until he had a plan of action. Hakora moved swiftly through the jungle using the art of movement to move over and around fallen trees. Hakora never used the force when running because he needed to train the body too. Behind him came the sound of small feet hitting the ground. Hakora had found a small baby wolf that lost it's parents in the Alderaan conflict so Hakora took him as his pet and named him Oberon. Hakora turned to see how Oberon was doing and when he looked forward it was too late and he smacked into someone. "Ow! What the--?!" He looked and saw it was a guy. " I am so sorry about that, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Oberon wasn't so polite and began growling at the man and Hakora petted Oberon's head to try and calm him.

Ponyboy was standing around when somthing hit him. Pony instantly fell, since he was caught off guard. The man apologized, Ponyboy got up quickly.

"No problem we all-" his sentence was cut off by a growl from a Wolf pup. Ponyboy only smiled, he looked at the man, then the pup.

"Nice wolf by the way." Ponyboy said befor picking up his water container from the ground.

He looked at the man again.

"M'name's Ryan, but my friends call me Ponyboy, or Pony for short." He told the man.

The seventeen year old dusted his pants off and looked up.

"So Mr. What are you doing out here?"

Hakor stood and dusted himself off. Oberon hid be hide Hakora's leg and was staring at the other guy, but wasn't growling anymore.
"Takes, found him alone on Alderaan, his name is Oberon and I am Hakora, but my friends call me Hakora." Hakora stretched a bit and pulled out his own water to use it to cool off. "Just out for a little exercises to pass the time. Endor seems almost as quite and isolated as Alderaan, but less Sith. What brings you out here?" Hakora twisted the lid back in his water and put it back in his backpack. He wore no lightsabers or anything to show he was a force user. If it came to it, he was Echani and could fight to protect himself, but he wasn't worried about needing to fight out here.

He hooked his water back to his vest, then looked back to the man named Hakora. He listened to him about why he ws here then smiled.

"Haha what a coincidence, I was actually taking a break from running, I run almost everyday, or at least when I can." Ponyboy said

He was expecting a stupid remark when Hakora heard his name like he normally gets from other people who meet him, but he didn't.

"Yeah it does seem quite isolated, I actually wasn't expecting to see any contact with anyone for at least another seven miles." Pony said.

Hakora did find the nickname Ponyboy to be odd, but that was not anymore odd then most names in this Galaxy. Hakora finished stretching and looked at Oberon who was finally warming up to the new person. "Well what say we run together? I have around 20 more miles to go if you are up for it? There is also a stream 15 miles from here that has fresh, clean spring water."

Ponyboy smiled at Hakora, then at the wolf.

"Sounds great Hakora, whenever you want we could start." He said before checking his water. He then checked his short sword to make sure it was hooked on well.

Ponyboy was rady to run, 20 miles or more didn't seem too bad, but it was more then he normally ran.

"Let's go." Hakora broke out into a slow sprint to ready his body again and after half a mile turned it up to a full on run like someone being chased. Hakora vaulted over a tree using a kong vault into a roll and then use a speed vault through a tree that was in the shape of a V. Hakora checked behind him to see how Pony and Oberon were doing. Oberon had his tongue out, running like the speed was nothing.

Ponyboy slowly went from jogging to a sprint. Dodging rocks and branches alike, he followed Hakora. Pony saw a tree that fell and jumped over it, he nearly slipped. He kept his speed only to find another tree, this one was in a V shape. Ponyboy slid under it after noticing Hakora roll. Ponyboy lunged up and got back to his feet. He slowly gained speed again, Hakora was pretty fast but Pony could catch up. He sprinted until he was near Hakora and his Wolf, he could only smile at the run. So far they ran about a mile and a half, they kept a good pase.

Hakora continued his run and then the path cleared up some, providing them with a more pen run feel. Hakora knew he could not keep up this pace for the whole stretch so he brought it down to a jog and kept pace with Ponyboy. "So I am curious, how did you come by the nickname Ponyboy?" Hakora looked back as Oberon kept pace like it was nothing; oh the energy of a puppy. Hakora looked around them at the trees as they spoke and the sky which was beautiful with clouds forming in all sorts of wonderful shapes. As they continued a speared hit a tree in front of them and Hakora smacked into the spear shaft. "What the-- oh please, not the walking teddy bears again." Hakora turned to look to see that indeed a hunting group of ewoks were confronting them and did not look happy. Hakora was good with the force and with fighting, but languages and charisma were def not his strong suit or even in his closet. He looked at Ponyboy hopping that he had more experience here.

Pony smiled when Hakora asked about his nickname.

"Well, I got my nickname from my brother...my real name is Ryan I was named after my father but I hated my father, so one night my brother thought of a nickname for me...I don't know why he picked Ponyboy, but he did and it stuck." Pony said with a smile when out of nowhere a spear hit a tree and Hakora smacked his face into it. Pony slid to a stop.

"Ewoks..." Hakora looked at him.

Pony looked at the Ewoks

"Bloody...I wish I took those bilingual classes, I got nothing....I say we skin em." Pony joked while taping his short sword.

" I am not really into skinning teddy bears, are you. Let me try to calm them." Hakora walked over and began to spoke like an adult to a child who is deaf. "I AM HA-KO-RAAAA AND....I....COME...IN....PIECE!!!!" The ewoks looked at each other and then charged with their spears. "Shit, run." Hakora then made a break for it and running away from the Ewoks, but seemed to be multiplying. He turned to see if Pony was following and yelled over the sound of Ewok battle cries. "I DIDN'T SEE THIS ANYWHERE IN THE BROCHURE!!!" Hakora turned to see if the Ewoks were still coming and the things were swinging in trees towards them and running and it was beginning to look like an army.

"Hell.." Pony said before following Hakora... Ponyboy laughed at Hakora's remark about the ewoks not being in the brochure.

"Nothing as fun as this will ever be in a brochure Hakora, learn to have a little fun and challenge in your life." Pony said with laughter in his voice.

A fallen tree was coming up ahead, it was leaning up against another tree. Pony quickly slid under, he wonedered if Hakora would jump over or slide...just something to keep his mind off tye Ewoks.

"fun you say, oh I know all about fun>" Hakora saw the fallen tree and smirked as he jumped over it doing a flip and with the aid of the force grabbed it and threw it a few yards ahead of Pony's path and yelled, "Catch!!!" This caught the Ewok's attention as they stopped and Hakora saw them stop and turned to them. "What no more fun?" Hakora then but his thumbs in his years and stuck his tongue out making a funny face. The Ewoks chartered and then charged again. Hakora turned to run again and scooped up Oberon and put Oberon in his backpack. "GAME ON!"

Sometimes, you need to relax and have patience. Sometimes, you need to sit down and wait for things to happen. But sometimes, the unexpected happens. Oka and B7 were on their way to a moon by endor. It was one of the most beautiful moons. But suddenly, a shot came from behind blasting the FT-18 Pillars rockets. It changed the course of their flight causing them to head right into endor. "Blasted! B7 I doubt we're gonna land smoothly. Be ready to jump...on a tree..." he said to his droid.

Ponyboy saw the tree flig all the way ahead of him...this seemed to make the Ewoks a bit more agitated. Pony smiled

"Nice try Hakora, I think they are still mad though" Ponyboy said while laughing.

He looked back at Hakora who seemed to have grabbed his wolf.

"You gonna keep up Hakora, or do I have to slow down." Ponyboy said...to him it was a game.

The ship was going through the atmosphere faster and faster. Almost too fast to escape. With all bad luck aside, Oka opened the window and standed up wobbly on the side of the ship. "B7 get out quick and go down to the ground. Don't worry about me." Oka said to B7. "Bleeep bloop" the droid said in reply. The ship was about 27 ft. away when He jumped on a tree. He barely caught the tree branch. More trouble came though, the ship blew up the bottom of the tree making it fall. "So much for a welcoming party" Oka said in short laughter.

Hakora laughed and used the force to run faster and then get in front of him and run backwards facing him, "what need me to slow.." Hakora's words were cut off by the sound of a ship entering violently in the atmosphere. The ewoks turned to run and Hakora saw what looked to be a man and droid am jump out of the ship and into a high tree then the ship came, bringing the tree down. Hakora use the force to rush to the tree. He wasn't going to make it so he reached out with the force to grab the massive tree in hopes to stop it. He used all he had to stop it from falling, but then after a few moments of stopping it began slowly falling. Hakora used the force to amplify his voice, "I can hold it much longer, JUMP!!" Hakora could feel the strain the massive tree was gainful in him and after 49 seconds of holding he had to let go and dropped down breathing heavily. "What are... These trees... Made of?... Pure titanium?
