Rust has a solemn demeanor and a bleak outlook on life. His duty is to the SIA, The Galactic Alliance, and whatever small part of him still believes in redemption.

• Body betrayal. Years spent undercover in the spice trade led to a crippling addiction. Though Rust is now sober, his body aches more than just age would suggest.

Details unknown. Suffice to say, Rust abandoned his Jedi training for love and then lost it all. The SIA is all he has left.
