BIOGRAPHY:
Ruuku Ohrwalder Hollis was born on the almost world-spanning ocean planet of Tion. He was the third child of five. He had an older sister by three years, a twin brother and two twin sisters that were 13 years his junior. Growing up he was documented as a gifted child who rarely disobeyed his parents. He had long brown hair, and blue eyes. His father was a fisherman who suffered from a series of physical disabilities later in his life. His father preferred fishing at night as it gave him a feeling of security. His mother was arrested when Ruuku was young for assaulting his father various times before she was found guilty of attempted murder on his father. Documents released from a mental institution states she suffered from severe schizophrenia and mild split personality disorder. Apart from Mrs. Hollis, three of the five children belonging to the Hollis family are currently admitted to mental institutions. Records state that although the economy was blooming and many were wealthy at such a time, the Hollis family remained in poverty.
Hollis' psychiatrist, Ms. Kate Young, reported Hollis as "...a boy of high natural intellect, who tends to work too hard even when he plays." She noted his tendency to over-analyze, and stated he is unfazed by his mother, twin brother and young sisters tragedies. At the end of his schooling, he achieved an unprecedented perfect test score in Mr. Jake Johnson's pre-algebra class. Upon being accused of cheating and retesting, he once again produced a perfect score. A social worker was sent to Hollis' home to investigate a claims that Hollis was being overworked at home, however they found no evidence of physical or psychological abuse.
At the age of eighteen, Hollis wrote an academic journal titled "The Impossible Death of the Sith." Although it was not particularly well received by his critics, it turned out to be accurate in predicting the return of the Sith five decades later, now known as the One Sith. Hollis enlisted in the Republic Navy upon his schooling graduation, he attended a prestigious military college on Corellia.
Upon graduation Hollis was assigned to the T.G.R Bite the Bullet.
During shore leave he would fall into a scandal involving a seventeen year old girl. She fell pregnant, and during a case hearing Hollis was not found guilty of any wrongdoing, he married Shantelle a year later. He was given a fourteen day honeymoon, before Hollis was reassigned as navigational officer of the T.G.R Keshiri Arrow. The two were married for a little over a decade and had another two children, a son and a daughter. However as the increasing need for officers flared up Hollis rarely saw Shantelle and his children, he became occupied on the frontier for years at a time.
After the return of the One Sith, Hollis was quickly promoted to Captain and given a small corvette to patrol the Outer Rim. After a dozen successful engagements, Hollis was assigned to the front lines once more, commanding his vessel in two notable engagements. The battle of Carida and Teta Empress. Shantelle filed for divorce shortly there-after, with a response from Hollis accepting responsibility for the failure of their relationship. His three children cut ties with him, regardless Hollis continued to send them birthday cards each year. During leave in the wake of his divorce, Hollis married his second wife after only knowing her for twelve days, after a six-month romance they were divorced.
Hollis was sent back to the new capital of Anaxes to sit at a desk. His requests for reassignment back to space were denied, and all of his proposals to make the Republic navy more effective against the Sith were ignored. During a meeting with high-ranking and low-ranking officials, he was quietly offered a position in the Protectorate. Over the next two weeks Hollis vanished from public view, only resurfacing for his highly publicised marriage to a much-younger woman who also formerly served in the Republic navy, and their even more publicised defection. During this time he resurfaced a third time at a Protectorate Ball, his first public sighting since his marriage four weeks prior. He was criticised for his date, his third wife who was twenty-two in comparison to Hollis being seventy-one. Currently Hollis is known to be serving in the Protectorate Navy alongside various other Republic defectors.
