Hey all, here's an OOC thread for our SL. Rybet Roulette
Muroth Duule is a Rybet who recently won a Kessel spice mine in a game of cards. Eager to cut corners where he can, Muroth has elected to employ droid labor from the Trade Federation who have provided workers and equipment for a sizable percentage of profits. At the 6 month inspection, Trade Federation executive Hara Krull is surprised to find that Muroth has lost hundreds of droids but has managed to meet mining quotas.
However, the droid's central computer is starting to become self aware and this is causing some issues with the droid labor. Aside from working in terrible conditions that have led to many droids being destroyed in the spice mines, the burgeoning AI of the central computer is struggling to define itself, understand itself, and control itself, thus droids are receiving erratic commands. This had led to tragic mining accidents that have killed some Neimoidian overseers.
Rahn Haaku, aware of the situation, somehow got word to you folks that there was an opportunity to rescue the central computer from memory wipe or shutdown, and rescue the droid laborers from endless toil at the hands of organics.
