"Ryndal Hause was able to afford the luxury of madness, like a man who not only thinks he is Palpatine but hires an army to prove it."

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

For his era, Ryndal Hause was one of the most intelligent beings to gift the galaxy. He described his own intellect to rival that of the most learned Givin. With ease, he could teach himself almost any aspect of technology and learn how to apply it in design. He could easily design a starship without a base, a skill he developed at the Institute of Starship Engineering. His droids also had an uncanny human-like intelligence and seemed to develop a personality on their own.

To compliment his intelligence, Hause also had a highly practical mindset. He searched for efficiency in nearly everything regarding his work. This helped in the foundation of his company and its eventual growth. Hause also used this drive for efficiency to phase out perceived unreliable human workers with droids. He also managed to prey on the natural greed of others and simply bought out most of his small time competition to increase his company's capabilities bit by bit. He also seemed to be extremely patient - willing to wait for the optimal plan to arise or to coax it with methods that did not overextend himself and his resources.

Yet for his great intelligence and ability, Hause had an extremely eccentric personality that most described as madness. Whether it was due to his advanced cognitive abilities or not, Hause frequently tended toward the side of madness. It might have been an obsessive compulsive disorder - where he would buy entire companies because he enjoyed a certain flavor of drink it created. His obsession extended to tiny trinkets and toys - his choice of which depending on the year.

His obsession for results also lead to Hause no longer valuing personal relationships with beings. Profits and results were all he saw in a being, and any contact with a being ended as soon as their use had ended. As a result, Hause was a more or less a recluse. While he did not enjoy purely sentimental contact with other beings, he knew that interaction with them was a necessity.

Despite his height, Hause boasted no physical talent for combat. In a fight, he would hardly have a chance of winning against an opponent moderately capable in a fight - despite his vast knowledge of the human anatomy that he also acquired. If conflict was inevitable, Hause chose to stack the deck in his favor and deal his own hand. He never entered a brawl (literal and figuratively) without a severe advantage - be it technological or otherwise.

BIOGRAPHY:

Ryndal Edus Hause was born in 375 ABY to Andal Hause, Sr., and his lover on Anaxes. Andal Hause, Sr., was a widower that owned Hause Engines - a company notable for manufacturing the engines of starships produced on Anaxes. Andal Hause had a son with his first wife named after himself.

In 383, Ryndal's parents died in a speeder accident. At the age of 8, Ryndal was unable to defend himself against the machinations of his older half-brother. As a result, Andal Hause managed to take full proprietorship of Hause Engines for himself and anything else Andal Hause, Sr., left in the will for Ryndal using excuses such as Ryndal not being a legitimate son. Yet Ryndal was indisputably in the care of his older brother. To get rid of him, Andal sent Ryndal to a boarding school far away from Hause Engines headquarters.

After graduating from boarding school, Ryndal Hause attended the Institute of Starship Engineers. He kept his field of study board and still managed to excel in all his classes. He graduated egregia cum laude.

Soon after graduation, Hause went on to found StarCo Industries in 397, headquartered on Coruscant. Hause personally contributed in the design of most of his company's creations. The company's initial selling point was its automated starships that allowed for ease of use no matter the user's previous experience with piloting. His business eventually expanded to include the creation of droids, a subject Hause was interested in. There, he created some of the most popular protocol droids of the era at such a price that nearly all families in high middle class and above had one.

StarCo Industries continued to expand. It acquired many rival companies in high technology and starship design. The vast amount of revenue the company received from its sales and contracts allowed it to venture into new industries without fearing much relative loss. Hause eventually acquired Hause Industries, yet kept his half-brother in charge of the company. The company eventually expanded into several military projects. Yet due to the relative peaceful times, StarCo did not receive many military contracts.

Eventually, Hause began to set up a base of operations on his homeworld - Anaxes - around 410. He owned several skyscrapers in Pols Anaxes. Frequently, he would buy and entire building to either reposition it for a better view or to acquire a certain item within it. His aides supposedly bought him several hundred gallons of a certain ice cream flavor because he expressed a liking to it. The aides found that the flavor was no longer in production and the lowest amount for a special order was several hundred gallons. By the time the ice cream was shipped to Hause, his preferences had already changed and he claimed that he was tired of the flavor. Hause's company also began to become increasingly robotic-based to the point that there were rumors that he only preferred robots as lovers.

Due to Hause's obsession with probabilities and predicting the future, he discovered in 413 that the galaxy was destined for turmoil by 428. He used the growing political turmoil and exploits of terrorists as the base of his mathematically sound predictions. He began to make preparations on Anaxes in order to protect himself from impending doom. His experience in automated systems allowed him to easily construct a secret bunker in the outskirts of Pols Anaxes that could continue operations for at least a thousand years. He also designed droids to use as scouts in order to effortlessly survey the galaxy to know its state of condition. Finally, he created a sophisticated cryogenic system that would put him stasis for hundreds of years. It was programmed to awake him for short intervals of time every fifty years in order for him to make an assessment on whether or not to fully awake.

After Zero's attack on Csilla in 425, Hause knew that it was time to retire from the galaxy and await for better days. Once he sealed himself in his bunker, he would not emerge for over four hundred years. During that time, the empire he created with StarCo faded away. Remnants of his eccentric legacy disappeared from the galaxy as time moved forward and the dark ages destroyed most of the history that was once available.

When 836 befell the galaxy, Hause emerged from his bunker to a new galaxy. He quickly oriented himself with the political climate and technology capabilities of the galaxy. He had comparatively little of what remained, yet he saved as much physical assets as he could in his bunker as collateral for loans in order to get in the high technology business again.

With Old Galactic ideas, Hause sought to rebuild the empire he once had. Due to Anaxes being a part of a new Republic, he decided to first use it to his advantage and begin again...
