THE STORY
"I've been running my whole life."
Ryss Ankarr was born to a Echani Mother and Human Man. Her mother was of noble lineage to the Echani hierarchy, but, instead chose to love and marry a snarky Galactic Republic Pilot by the name of Zando Ankarr. Ryss was born on Corellia, but retained her Echani features. By her father's side she became obsessed with starfighters and early on as a child declared that someday she would be the best pilot in the Republic Starfigher Corps.
But, her dreams as a pilot would be cut short when at the behest of her mother's relatives she was taken to the Echani homeworld to learn the ways of the Force. Ryss hated it, she hated the rules, the strict methodology and the pompous royals who attended classes. Ryss was a born rebel. After getting kicked out she was sent to the Jedi Academy where she developed a close bond to her Twi'lek Master. She became like a second mother to her and under guidance Ryss grew up to be a promising Jedi Knight. In her teens she had an adept talent for physical Force powers, Telekinesis, Dueling and Force manipulation of the body. But, always struggled with the more abstract nuances of the Force.
