HM-6 Concussion Missile Launchers (2, six missiles each)
Z-9 Deflector Shield Projector
4x-Phantom Short Range Sensor Jammer
Chaff OR Flare Launcher
The original RZ-1 A-Wing remains one of the fastest fighters in the Galaxy. Very few TIE Fighters of the Empire were able to keep up with this embodiment of Greased Lightning. It may have been constantly outnumbered and out gunned, but rarely was it outflown. If saner heads had prevailed in the Imperial Navy, the A-Wing would have been the sort of fighter it would have made, and eventually did attempt in models such as the TIE Defender and Interceptor, but that Star Destroyer Addiction proved too powerful to kick in the end. Still found in ancient military caches, it's potential is inhibited by its incredibly high maintenance issues.

- Very High Speed Interceptor, capable of out running most modern Interceptors
- Multiple Multispectral Imagers for gathering data
- Fast and Furious: Still one of the fastest fighters in the Galaxy Millennia after it was introduced, it's speed and agility make it an ideal fighter even today
- Defenses: Has a sensor jammer making it harder to target by enemy interceptors, and a deflector shield
- Scanners: Powerful and precise sensors ally for incredible targeting and intel gathering
- Fast fire rate: It's laser cannons fire at an incredibly fast rate that makes its projectiles difficult to evade
- SURPRISE!: It's laser cannons can swivel behind it to fire
- Repair issues: Absolutely appalling repair times, lengthy, extensive, and assuring it spends just as much time in the shop as it does the the stars
- Outdated: It's shield systems are out dated, and can take only one hit, while the hull can take only one, and it's jammers can be easily overcome by modern systems and jammed in turn, and it's chaff defense systems are also severely outdated beyond the most basic engagements
- Overheat: It's laser cannons, especially older, unsecured models, overheat quickly after more than a few seconds firing
