Intent: To create a heavy repeater for the Fel imperium as well as a defensive turret, or to be used as cover fire against a group of enemies or small vehicles. Being a mounted and unmounted weapon it can be versatile to different performance options of attack or defense.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Kelliak Arms and Armor
Model: S-3 Rotary repeater.
Affiliation: Fel Imperium.
Modularity: Minor
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Duraplast, Durasteel.
Description:
The S-3 Rotary repeater is a heavy blaster repeater that is used on a Tripod for most of the time. Used as more of a defensive measure, it can be taken off to be applied to a Vehicle that has the ability to hold said weapon. Yet the repeater is light enough that a human can hold it for some time, but will need to be used to the weight and trained to use one without shooting their own team mates.

On the bottom of the repeater is a cylinder rod that extends only 4 inches, it has holes that are 1 inch in diameter to be connected to a tripod, or vehicle with a simple pin and clip. With the majority of the repeater made of Durasteel, the small blast shield on the repeater is made of Duraplast to protect against blaster fire and one glancing lightsaber hit. It also protects the user against debris or blasts. Protecting the hands and some of the chest if being carried, while protecting the upper body when being used on a tripod.

To prevent overheating there are multiple (3) barrels so one barrel is not getting 500 rounds fired through it in mere seconds. However, if a small item were jammed in between the back plate of the spinning barrels and the mechanical housing, then the item would have to be taken out before being used again. However it the item is not remove it can cause the weapon to cycle the barrels completely destroying the mechanisms inside of the repeater. It would need to be fixed or completely replaced.

With the size and weight of the weapon, it would be fairly hard for a person to run with the weapon, causing the person to walk in an awkward gait to balance the weapon. If being used without a mount. The Energy cells created for this only fit for this weapon. A hatch on the top of the Repeater is opened to allow a 500 round drum to be slid into the repeater itself, using 12 standard power packs loaded into a drum that provides the weapon with 500 shots before needing to reload. The repeater can fire a 80 rounds per minute. The Blaster bolts are higher energy allowing for less hits to break armor, as this can be used against both infantry and small vehicular warfare.
Classification: Rotary blaster Repeater.
Size: Handheld (for short time periods) Stationary (placed on a tripod), Vehicle-Mounted (can be placed on vehicles with a series of latched and pins.
Status: Military.
Length: 1.5 meters.
Weight: 20 kilograms.

1) Increase weight to 20kg
2) What is the rate of fire for this weapon?
3) How much damage does this blaster do per shot, when compared to a standard blaster rifle?
4) Does the weapon use standard power cells, or does it use specialized power cells?
5) If it uses standard power cells, it needs at least 10 power cells to provide 500 shots of 'standard power' blaster shots.

Added to the last paragraph "The Energy cells created for this only fit for this weapon. A hatch on the top of the Repeater is opened to allow a 600 round drum to be slid into the repeater itself."
Weight bumped to 20 Kgs.
bumped up the rounds to 600 to match with one minute of continuous firing that would be on par with the Earth's M-16. (hope that's okay)

Oh lord. 600 rounds in a minute on a BLASTER!? Gatling Blasters still only clock in at around 80 shots a minutes or less. You can have 500-600 rounds of ammo, but I can't let you have a rate of fire anywhere close to that high.

Also, is this firing 'standard' blaster bolts or are they stronger/weaker than a standard blaster rifle would be?

Sounds fine. Edit it so that it said that it uses 12 standard power packs loaded into a drum that provides the weapon with 500 shots before needing to reload. This gives you a little over 6 minutes of continuous fire before needing to reload and covers the power requirements for being 'more damaging' than a standard blaster bolt.

Add in that it takes an expert about 20 seconds to reload the weapon and that when mounted on a vehicle, it draws power directly from the vehicle itself.

Also, please bump the blaster up to 1.5 meters long. Somehow I forgot to add in that request with my first review.
