Rationale: During the time after taking command of the Abrion Sector, Marek Starchaser was realizing the lack of deep space and planetary exploration and research going on. Creating STEB was his way to fill in the gap. The company used profits from Bright Star Entertainment Group and any and all research grants they can gather from various galactic universities while essentially being a non-profit.

Description: STEB is a non profit organization under the Bright Star Entertainment Group, Created to give back to the community, STEB focuses on research on a galactic scale. Looking for scientists and researchers focusing in astrophysics, planetary sciences, and biological research, STEB is working to make the galaxy a better place. As a non-profit, all funds that are created through STEB and the grants it gathers are put back into the galactic academic community.
STEB is a proud sponsor of the STEM education programs throughout the galaxy, and while the majority of the ships are given a Tion or Abrion port-of-call, the crews will come from all over in an attempt to bring the best minds of the galaxy together. Working with the Silk Holdings family of companies, technology researchers are always working to improve and modify designs from a variety of exploration and research companies, while producing new and unique products to be produced by major corporations.
While the ships are all working on exploration of real space and hyperspace, scientists aboard the vessels are performing a variety of experiments on biology, computer systems, new technology and closed system environmental challenges.
