[SIZE=12pt]The armour consists of a blaster resistant flex-armor body glove that covers most of their body and cuts off at the neck. Then, on top of the body glove, are a set of removable duraplast plates that provides the bulk of the armour’s protection. These plates consist of shin guards, arm guards that cover the wearer’s hands and finally, a chest plate that starts above the belly button with a neck guard. The armour also features a groin guard as well as removable grenade belt and pouches to store items like ammunition. Lastly is the armour’s helmet which is also made of duraplast which contain a HUD, audio and video recorder, encrypted commlink, a variety of vision settings and motion sensor.
Although the armour protects the wearer against blaster fire and lightsabers, the area from below the belly button to the top of the knees is exposed to attack with only the flex-armor body glove as protection. There is also a lack or protection in the back of the armour which leaves the lower back to just above the ankle exposed to damage with light protection.
+ Light and not bulky allowing for freedom in movement as well as allowing the wearer to choose to wear parts or all of the armour.
+ Protection against blaster fire due to its flex-armor body glove.
+ Limited protection from lightsabers due to the duraplast plates. However, a powerful strike could easily cut through the plates.
