"Okay, so like... here's the thing.
Life is messy. One day, you're just heading to school with nothing to worry about, aside from your Calc homework and whether or not Dansy has a crush on you. (They do, just FYI.) The next day, a bunch of people in robes and armour are talking to you and asking funny questions about lifting things up with your mind. If you were drinking booze (which I don't... honest) or you were taking something (which I don't, for sure) you'd have to be insane to let that happen."
Sabatha Layne is a newbie Jedi Padawan, an amateur actor and middling baker from Empress Teta.
Adopted as a baby, she was raised by a single designer on Empress Teta. She grew up in a small, cosy apartment in relatively comfortable circumstances. Her world was filled with colours and her mom encouraged her to be playful with everything. She grew up to be inquisitive, confident and individual, which her mother approved of. Unfortunately, she also grew up to be talkative, messy and unfocused. Entering her bedroom was only for those with the stomach to bare the horrors within. Opening her bag was even worse.
Sabatha attended a local school, personifying the old educator complaint of 'could do better.' When she turned sixteen, various events transpired involving adhesives, glitter paint and a friend's ex that lead to the discovery of her Force sensitivity. Although her mom was worried about her joining the Jedi, Sabatha eventually managed to persuade her with such dazzling arguments as "stop worrying" and "it'll be totally fine and cool, I promise, when do I ever let you down?"
Now, Sabatha is training to use and hone her nascent skills with the Force. Who knows what happens next?
