BIOGRAPHY:
Saelia grew up on Dubrillion and was educated at its leading university. While at the university, she met and fell in love with a student radical, Treden Santori, at that time a Sith Knight. He discovered her latent Force affinity and taught her the ways of the Force, and after he advanced to Sith Master, Saelia ascended to Knighthood. As they progressed in the Force, Treden also advanced in government of Dubrillion. His goal was to bring Dubrillion to the Empire, to impose the order that the Sith Empire could bring and harness the wealth and power of Dubrillion in so doing.
Treden Santori and Saelia Sterling married shortly after graduating university and immediately went into politics, with Treden winning a seat in Dubrillion's congressional opposition party. As Treden moved up the ranks, so did Saelia. She was his most trusted confidant, his adviser on matters political and social. His reliance upon her, and installation of her as his second in command and Chair of Congress once he assumed the position of Administrator, was met with some hostility in Treden Santori's cabinet, and others in government. Moreover, Santori's Imperial ambitions caused a rift in the government, a rift that soon dissolved into open conflict as the Dubrillion Civil War launched.
Two years into a costly war, Treden was recently killed leading his troops into battle in one of the cities loyal to Santori's government. Saelia was devastated, but vowed to restore the government in her husband's name. She has seized control of the majority of the loyalist forces and is considering a diplomatic mission to request assistance from the Sith Empire in pacifying Dubrillion, seeking to end the costly war that is counting costless lives and credits for her beloved Dubrillion.
