OOC INFO

Intent - To provide Factions with a means of reinforcement on the battlefield

PRODUCTION INFO

Manufacturer - Saevus Engineering

Affiliation - Saevus E.

Model - Infantry Landing Pod

Modularity - No

Production - Mass-Produced

Materials - Frasium, Bandorium

Technical Specifications

No. of Occupants - 5

Comfortable - Barely

Special Features

Shin-Kicker - It wouldn't be SAEVUS if it wasn't trying to hurt people. Once the Pod hits the ground, just before the doors pop open, shrapnel is ejected at significant velocity from the base in all directions. If you're close enough, your legs will be gone in a blink

Strengths

Armoured - The pod is designed for immediate, forward reinforcement. Heavily armoured and equipped with a 'Shin-Kicker', the ILP can be thrown into just about any fight.

Weaknesses

Uncomfortable - You'll only be inside for a minute or so, but it really wasn't ergonomically designed. Bit of foam here and there, maybe a cup-holder if you're lucky. But you're essentially sat in a metal box travelling at 16,000mph

Description

The ILP is a quick and easy solution to thinning numbers on the battlefield. Got 50,000 men in orbit that you simply can't land because the ground is too full of bolts and explosions? Stick them in 10,000 ILP's, send them on their merry way and watch as enemy forces get their shins filled with shrapnel while your men blitz across their objectives.
