SAEVUS was born out of Orex Mauda's DEAD. While DEAD mostly concerns itself with cheap mass-production to satisfy criminal cells, SAEVUS produces state-of-the-art artillery, explosives and weaponry that is designed to be used by Major Galactic Factions and Empires. Although producing vastly different products, SAEVUS operates out of DEAD Factories and facilities, rendering it virtually indistinguishable and eliminating Orex's expenditure in setting up more facilities elsewhere.
SAEVUS specialises in High-Tech arms that are both futuristic and barbaric. Taking its name from a lost, ancient language that means Brutal, Violent or Savage and its logo from an obscure religious figure who was often associated with Murder and Ruthlessness, SAEVUS produces arms that are designed to kill or destroy as painfully as possible.
SAEVUS not only produces military-grade weapons and explosives, it is also a Ship manufacturer with several shipyards.
RATIONALE
Orex's growing ambition was met with growing cost. To counter this problem, he decided to begin another arms manufacturer with a different, more lucrative target audience. SAEVUS was born from DEAD to capitalise more effectively on the current Geo-political Chaos that has gripped the Galaxy in recent years to give him greater income to achieve his goals.
Made to satisfy the more aggressive collectives found in the shadier sections of the Galaxy, but also, secretly, Orex's supplier. Every Empire needs its cornerstore.
