BIOGRAPHY:
Shortly after the fall of the Iron Empire, the Galactic Northern arm of the Unknown Regions once more fell into mediocrity. Safis'are'nuruodo was a young man at the time. Like many of his kind, service to his people had always been a driving force but in the vacuum left there was a flurry of inaction. Drawn to the authoritarian power to the South, 'Saren' watched as the empire of the First Order expanded, bringing world after world into its domain. Perhaps the most incredible thing was the progress they made. Unhindered by sprawling bureaucracy, things got done.
Tired of the inaction and the dragging of feet, Saren made up his mind to seek brighter horizons, immigrating into First Order space. His citizenship pending, he immediately submitted an application to the First Order's "H. Nelson Joint Military Academy & School of Warfare". As any applicant, a thorough background check processed by the FOSB greenlighted him for the Officer's program and months later he was officially accepted as a Cadet.
Saren had always been a child ahead of his age, solemn and observant. While other children played with toys, he could be found reading about the wonders of space, constructing replica models of famous historical vessels, and even drawing his own ships as he imagined himself one day a captain of his own. Through the First Order, he might actually see that dream come to fruition.
Surging ahead of his class, the man seemed driven by an unknown force. The aggressive way in which he approached his study, the way he was never satisfied with his results. Saren didn't only want to succeed, he seemed to will it, and so it became. Graduating at the top of his class, Saren found himself tasked to the FIV Excalibur, a Marauder-class Cruiser. Working his way up through the ranks took little time. Presently, he serves as the 2IC.
