- Ol' Reliable: Utilizing an assortment of very durable metals, textiles, and materials, the weapon is designed to be thrown in the mud, dirt, dropped in a stream, or lake, then picked up and continue to operate without any problem. Having the ability to go through a thousand rounds without a malfunction. The host of textiles provide the optimal ability of a weapon of its caliber. Withstanding short engagements, or entire days of battle. Even using materials that can resist EMP weaponry, so that it can function even if damaged by Ion weapons, or smaller forms of EMPs. Secondly, using textiles so that it can slip past sensors in say, a bag, or kept in a hidden compartment.
- Accurate Under Fire: Using one of the most accurate Slugthrower round calibers currently on the market, as well as utilizing a underbarrel shield attachment, finally with various recoil reduction systems, allow for the rifle to be fired in Fully-automatic and retain a rather accurate spread of the ammo. While using the Semi-automatic, the rifle has low recoil, and easily is able to reach long ranges with the rounds provided. Typically is used in conjunction with the 30-round box magazine. While the Fully-automatic setting can allow the rifle to fire at a higher Rounds per minute, however lowers accuracy to a degree.
- 6.8mm Kicks: Utilizing a round caliber that is able to reach out at longer ranges, and can be more damaging with stopping power, as well as penetration of armor. Other rounds that are created of the same caliber can also be used with this rifle.
- Easy Clean: Due to the fabrication of this weapon, it can easily be field-stripped, cleaned, and maintained without a problem. Taking a moment or two to replace damaged parts should the user have them on hand.
- I uh.. wasn't aiming for that: Using a Full-auto rifle means that accuracy will suffer in longer ranges. Maybe one could hit a couple rounds at longer range, but in practice, its difficult to just hold down the trigger and expect all of your rounds to hit in a small group. Let alone hit the target. The rifles accuracy when using Full-auto is more dependent upon their ability to control the rifle. Even with the various systems added to reduce recoil, and keep the weapon aimed at the desired target.
- Well I'm Out: Using a Full-auto can run through ammo pretty quickly. Even though it has 100 rounds per Drum Mag, its best used in bursts, to conserve ammo. Due to the higher rate of fire, as well as trying to stay on target while controlling the weapon, the potential to have rounds miss the target and be "Wasted" is a high possibility.
- Bigger Blast: While the rifle is resistant to EMPs and smaller Ion based weaponry, EMP's that would be larger than a grenade would be able to shut down the electrical systems upon, or in the rifle. Making the user rely upon Iron sights, and whatever attachments to be unusable.
- Longer Ranges: Due to the way slugthrowers work, the rounds have mass, and at longer ranges will drop. While the weapon has an effective long range, any much longer, and the bullet drops dramatically due to losing energy from Atmosphere interference, Winds, and the like.
- Carry In, Carry Out: As a physical round, loading up with not just a 100 Round drum, but all the other Magazines and the extra rounds as well, means while the rifle itself is heavy, the ammo can be almost triple the total weight of the rifle needed to be carried on the person into a battle.
Kaleleon has been slowly drawing closer into the mindset of a soldier, and a spacer. Specifically because in many recent fights, he has had to rely heavily upon ranged encounters. Namely due to so many forces using ranged weaponry, as well as fights where upon he had to defend almost exclusively. In every major fight that has been in Kale's life, he has never been the outright attacker. Defending civilians, preventing Sith from attacking allies, or even to his first instance of force users, where he fought pirates after being captured. Always reacting. Never acting. In an attempt to change that, Kale has been gathering what he needs to be able to act first.
Namely, this weapon, will be a symbolic purpose of him to act. Using a weapon, a slugthrower, for the intent of fighting against whatever forces there may be.
