Sal Valentino was born into a rich honest family that lived at the upper levels of Coruscant. His father, Roman Valentino, a stock marketer for a large manufacturer business, with this job Roman was able to afford all of life's luxuries, for him and his family.
The money Roman made was mostly invested into the families only son, Sal Valentino, and his future. This included paying for some of the best education in the galaxy. In school Sal Valentino took a noticeable interest in business and stock, much like his father. Sal's hard work continued throughout his time at school, giving him top marks in almost all subjects, and categorising him as a 'genius'.
At the age of 18, Sal started working for a local business, specialising in trade and profits, he continued to work for the company until he was 20. At the age of 20 Sal was told his father, Roman, had died of an alleged heart failure. Though not particularly close with his father, this truly devastated Sal.
On his will, it was said that all his father's life earnings would be given to Sal. With a bank balance of over 2,000,000 credits, Sal would decide to start a new life. But this time, it wouldn't be as innocent. Starting with petty smuggles and thief's, the Valentino Crime Family was born.
Over the next 30 years Sal would invest most of his life to the Family, using his knowledge of business to build an illegal empire, and also becoming respected throughout the galaxy. The family was so successful it was sometimes said that is was the most powerful in galaxy, though this is not true it is still one Crime Family to fear. This success didn't come unvoiced however, enforces spent all their men and hours trying to prove Valentino as a guilty man, without any accomplishment. To cover up this large money intake, Sal purchased a high-end bar 'The Jack of All Trades', it was one location, based on Coruscant where everyone went, or wanted to go.
