The blade produce by this weapon is red-orange in color and has an unstable appearance.
The crystal within the lightsaber allows for, if conditions met, the blade to produce flame by superheating the oxygen in the air with the friction produced by the heat.
Resonance of the crystal within has potential to amplify the wielders rage and aggression and turn the emotions into an increased strength.
The hilt of the weapon was designed to be extremely resistant to heat in order to properly house the crystal within.
The blade of this weapon has a lesser luminosity than most other lightsaber because of the crystal within.

The housing of this weapon is extremely resistant to heat by design because of the higher resting temperatures of the crystal contained within.

As part of his training within the cathedral on Myak, the terrestrial moon of Yesmireen, as a priest among the Immerin, Salak had to undergo a number of trials. One such trial was the design and construction of a lightsaber. Unlike many of his peers, however, Salak's weapon construction stood out for its unique and ornate feel. Like the man which crafted the it, the lightsaber held about it an eerie feel reminiscent of the Dark Side. That dark side nature was only increased by the crystal housed within the weapon itself. A crystal that thirsted, itself, for a deeper connection to the Dark Side of the Force.

The lightsaber was Salak's first and only design to this date, and it has been wielded for more than fifty years. It is truly the blade of a Dark Side practitioner of the Force.
