Appearance: Lady Salara stands at one point eight two metres even in her current age the former court alchemist maintains an athletic figure with a rounded curve just below her waist. Long brown hair typically held up in a bun, bright blue eyes and small hints of laugh lines and wrinkles.
On most days the Lady can be found in typical robes and garments befitting her station. Her makeup is often of nude colors with hints of black to bring out the color in her eyes. When necessary she will don the Robes of the Grand Alchemist. A medium ceremonial armor that does well enough for standard engagement.

Personality: Salara upon first meeting is stern, a woman who follows rules set long ago. She rarely strays from those rules or from her own system of beliefs. The Epicanthix noble can also appear harsh and unwavering and at times just as cruel and cold, if not more so than her husband. She is a woman who wanted for power and did what she had to in order to obtain it and will continue to do whatever is necessary to keep it.
Salara is also deathly loyal to her husband first, and children and grandchildren second. Her love for him has no bounds and much like her own lust for power. She will do whatever is necessary to keep her husband alive. The noblewoman finds that family is most important and that if one cannot put faith in family then one has no faith at all.
Behind closed doors, Salara is a warm and generous person often letting her guard down for very, very few to see. Her softness is not something she feels the need to display and outwardly prefers to be seen as a woman with harden heart.

Weapon of Choice: Arcus Venenum, her handbow of poison is usually her go-to weapon. She prefers a precise kill as opposed to open slaughter. Her handbow adds poison damage allowing her to whittle her opponents down over time.

Weak Heart: As she continues to age, so do the problems with her health continued. Lady Salara is no longer able to fight for extended periods of time and while she takes medications to keep her heart healthy. It is recommended that she refrain from high stress situations.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Daughter of Ullanor Istaavan Kesare the III and his wife Magdalore Sathryne Aiori-Kesare. Lady Salara Kesare-Zambrano was brought up in the loyal house with roots near Canthar itself. Their family’s trade had been Alchemy, serving as Court Alchemists for the Zambrano family for centuries.
Lord Ullanor taught his daughter the art of war and its various forms. He taught her that in order to survive she would have to be ruthless. He taught her that if she wanted to do anything that she would have to do it herself. What he did not teach his headstrong daughter was the art of treachery. Lord Ullanor let slip one evening that Salara would be offered to a rival house for a political union. Salara at the time was seventeen and had been working with her mother at Hasi’ Sulemi.
While the Black-Iron Tyrant, Kaine Zambrano had begun his own path to ascension, she had caught his eye, while he had caught hers. The two began their own love affair; not caring that their romantic priorities were not in order. And as Lord Ullanor made the careful steps to introduce his daughter to her would-be husband; Salara made plans to kill this man.
The two young lovers continued to meet in secret, he with his own plan for slaughter. While she bided her time, learning from her parents all that she could learn. Waiting until she was named Court Alchemist, and on this day; she set into motion the plans to kill Lord Leman. Slowly she would poison him, with every beverage she served him. All the while her affair with Kaine continued, until it evolved into something more.
With her alchemical gifts, Lady Salara began the demise of House El’Cthonia. No man, woman or child of the house would be left alive. Meticulous planning, and cautious kills. She brought the house down from within, savoring the final kill for herself. Lord Leman was slaughtered in his own bed.
The next morning and the days that followed the House of El’Cthonia were meticulously killed. Lady Salara wanted to ensure that no one would question the death and that any assets the family had would be transferred to her.
Days, months and years would pass from this moment.
Lady Salara’s affair with Kaine grew, until it was obvious that they were meant for more than just an affair.
On the evening in which Salara was set to announce her marriage to Kaine. Her father, Lord Ullanor disgusted with what he believed to be his daughter’s actions as a murderess and even adulterer dispatched assassins to deal with her. What he did not know was that she laid in bed with Kaine himself, informing him that she was with child.
The Black-Iron Tyrant dealt with House Kesare accordingly.
It had been during his son’s announcement to court that the House was laid to rest. Weak and vain, were the terms Kaine used to describe his late in-laws. With their marriage secure the two turned to more important matters, for him it was ruling the Kingdom and expanding his influence. For her it would be presiding over court as the court alchemist.
Her duties as court alchemist included brewing potions, tonics, and poultices. Lady Salara was also responsible for minor sorcery when necessary. As a chemist and a scientist she often worked to support her husband’s creations. Enchanting unique items and crafting specific weapons when his lordship had need of them.
