[Salazar Niminen]

​

A native of Planet Cathar, born to the clan-elder Shiva Niminen & his mate Jewel Niminen as their only child, Salazar Niminen was a bright student & an exceptional hunter since the age of 7. After the untimely death of Shiva Niminen, Salazar helped his mother gain prominence in the clan & continued with his studies. Discovering his force-sensitivity at a late age of 16, Salazar gathered information about the Silver Jedi & their training grounds at Silver Rest, Kashyyyk. As a child, his father used to tell him stories of the Jedi and their virtues & so when he found out that he had the potential of becoming one, he desperately sought to journey to The Concord to become the wisest Jedi of all.

All he could manage to salvage from his native planet was an old rust-bucket ship of the former Mandalorian Union under whose protectorate Planet Cathar was before imperial occupation. But he knew nothing about interstellar travel or any other planet outside his own. He approached the Union’s unit on Cathar & requested them to let him join the SJC. Seeing his potential of becoming a Jedi, they agreed & taught him interstellar travel & ship mechanics. Being intuitive like all force-sensitive individuals, he learned very quickly. But he faced another channel as he completed his training. But the ship he had could go so far. So he plotted a path from Cathar to Kashyyyk with multiple stops in between where he would refuel his ship with some money loaned from The Union. He first made his journey from Cathar to Ordo. Since Ordo was at the outskirts of the Union borders, bordering the Silver Jedi Concord, the New Imperial Order & The Sith Empire, he had a very small window before the New Imperial Order & The Sith Empire strike teams struck him down for joining the Concord & not them. So he flew at sublight speed for over 4 months & used his instincts & unknowingly his reliance on The Force to avoid their radars & reached Taris. From there he went to Obroa-skai. From there to Hapes where he signed up for Concord citizenship & waited there for a month for validation. From there he went to Kashyyyk via Umbara.

When he reached The Silver Rest, The Silver Jedi Triumvirate refused to teach him at first as they only accepted potentials under the age of 10. But he pleaded to them & the 3 Grandmasters agreed on the condition that he completes his initiate training within a year of his admission – which usually takes a minimum of 4 years to complete by initiates half his age – and be tested by each of them in his proficiency in combat, learning & diplomacy & they gave him no room for failure.

When he was tested a year later – Grandmaster of the Saber, Master Josh Dragovalor, saw his serene and fluid combat style & agreed on his formal initiation as a padawan, advising him to take Form VI Niman as his preferred style of combat; Grandmaster of Diplomacy, Master Jairdain, found his soft-spoken friendly yet bold style of diplomatic approach to be useful in his Jedi life ahead. But the Grandmaster of Knowledge, Master Nimdok, saw the undisciplined hunger for knowledge lurking in his subconscious & refused him admission. Salazar bowed down to him immediately & requested the Grandmaster to train him so that he can learn to control his demon and be a better version of himself as deep down he knew that Master Nimdok was right.

Nimdok formally accepted him as his padawan & for the next 4 years mentored him, teaching him how to learn and also showing him the virtues of the phrase " Ignorance Is Bliss ". Though impatient at first, Salazar eventually understood the flaws in him. His futile struggles to correct them helped his master teach him that one is made up of one's flaws as much as one's virtues; and so showed him the path to utilize his flaws to his benefits.

After 4 years of apprenticeship under his master, Salazar was put through the 5 Trials of the Order. After his Trial of Skill, to which a lot many masters were impressed, but Grandmaster Dragovalor stated coldly that he would need to master Niman if he ever plans on confronting a Darth. His execution of the Trial of Courage was unanimously seen as unorthodox as though he completed every challenge put in from of him, he didn't face any of them directly, clearly showing his aptitude in stealthy combat approach and also allowed a few similar masters to ridicule him. His endurance in the Trial of Flesh more than made up for his loss in the last trial and gave chills to a few spectators. His Trial of Spirit took 4 days; but when he emerged from the trance and was asked that what he concluded, his only reply was "Either I will be the wisest individual of all or the most dangerous". His final test, the Trial of Insight got him the most applaud as he saw through all the illusion that was put in front of him. Overall, he was put in the 87th percentile and his master evaluated his flaws and he was officially knighted by the Triumvirate.

After attaining Knighthood, he chose to serve in the SDF as a Jedi General leading his troops into numerous victories of both humanitarian & combat nature and earned the reputation as the General with one of the lowest troop casualty rate. In his 4 years of service, his skills and insight helped him win countless situations where his Catharian temper would have failed him. In the meantime, he helped create a Zeltron company on Zeltros, "Canyon Innovations Ltd." & after it took off successfully, they appointed him as the Director of it's newly formed Defence subsidiary "Canyon Defence Ltd."

He now has created a support Legion (19th “Viper”) by bringing together the best sentients from among all the ranks & fields of SDF, capable of providing mission support of almost any nature unless it contradicts with their collective morality.​

• 19th "Viper" Legion - A Legion of 5000 specialized support personnel of the SDF, personally handpicked by Salazar, support the entire SDF on demand in the worst conditions where even the most high-tech machinery fail, they're mostly deployed in small platoons & rarely ever in sizes bigger than a company. They are divided into 5 regiments, each [Except 1st Regiment] fulfilling roles in different areas of expertise (2nd - Wild Rangers, 3rd - Urban Marines, 4th - Heavy Weapon Specialists, 5th - Technicians). The 1st Regiment, however, is the newest regiment among the 5 & have pooled their talents from the other 4 elements. Their mission directive as of the present is a highly classified set by Salazar Niminen with the joint suggestions of SDF brass & SJC High Council.​
