Sabrestaff that disconnects and reconnects to twin sabres.
Salis required a weapon that was special, something that would work no matter her opponent. As adaptable and agile as she was. After quite a few designs she'd worked on she fell upon this. What would appear like a normal sabres staff at first, the weapon was designed to maximize her focus on speed and agility by being detachable into two separate blades. Both blades were activated separately, and could have their lengths adjusted or turned on and off mid battle, this design allows her a very malleable weapon for the moment of necessity.
Strengths:
- Can cut through many materials with relative ease.
- Adjustable blade lengths
- Detaches and reattaches from twin and sabrestaff easily
- Complexity of the internal design means malfunctions are much more likely when damaged or bent.
- The bottom of each hilt is more vulnerable to damage due to its design of clipping together. If given an angled hit it can damage the connection design.
- Addition of the mid battle length adjustments means the way one holds the weapon is far more important then with other blades.
