Lash

Stela'shlit'nuruodo
The sound of boots rang out down the corridor as the three Chiss men walked in time towards the lift. The Chiss under Stela'shlit'nuruodo's command had come a long way since they had left unknown space. First, they had come to aid the Imperial Remnant but were unable to stop the troubled group from collapsing. They went with the refugees of the Remnant to the Galactic Republic and were unable to abide by the Republics' staunch limitations burning their bridge with the group stealing a shipyard from them with the aid of the Imperium and Joren Greth. after the destruction of the Imperiums headquarters and the resettlement of the group on Ryloth the members of the Chiss had begun to look for a more stable place to continue their agenda. Seeing the downfall of Greth and the Imperium coming Lash and his Chiss left the Imperium and were taken in by The DIrectorate which served its purpose for a time. The combined resources of the group's parent companies allowed the Chiss to strengthen themselves and build a sizable force of their own while working for the Directorate and the Silver Jedi. As with every other group the Chiss had utilized it had become time to leave the Directorate behind and move onto another chapter in their saga. The Chiss could never go home but they could manipulate the galaxy as much as they could to make life better for their loved ones in the Chiss Ascendancy. Thus the exiled Chiss find themselves in the employ of another group. One less restricted by rules and limitations. Before the Chiss were preparing, building strength and collecting resources. Now they had what they needed and with the Agents of Chaos, they had the platform and support to begin their work.

The three men reached the lift and entered it silently waiting for the door to close and the lift to begin its climb to the observation deck. Like all of the newly designed Forge works vessels, the Termagant's command and control were located deep in the central section of the vessel. The common bridge area acted as an observation deck and secondary control area as well as the primary navigation deck. From here one could see out of the viewports and look out upon the hull of the vessel and into space. Lash come to the deck to view the blurred lines and distorted colors of hyperspace. He found the chaotic patterns intriguing. something about the light and the pattern of the star lines calmed him. Music played over monitors in the ceiling accentuating the light show, the combination of sight and sound created a beautiful exhibition of the power of these things. Lash knew music to be one of the most powerful forces in the galaxy. Space and its dimensions belittled Lash, he knew his place among the neverending realm. To see how small he was compared to the power of such things kept Lash from succumbing to his own arrogance and power.

Lash looked out at hyperspace taking in the sounds of a Devaronian fugue he had taken a liking too long ago when he had encountered a ship full of the race attempting to settle on a world in Ascendancy space. The music radiated throughout the large room as Chiss Human and other races who had joined Lash's crusade carried on their daily rituals. Many came to the deck to relax. others worked there as part of the secondary command and navigations crew. Some, like Lash, came to challenge their minds and consider where and what they were and were going.

"Sir, We are dropping out of hyperspace momentarily. Are you sure we are doing the right thing here? I do not question your choice of aligning with these people. I know they are a tool as are all of these lesser ones. These people are much more ominous than our past acquaintances. They may not be as easy to manipulate as the Imperials or the Directorate trash were. They seem to have a much darker intent than the others." said the Chiss captain standing to Lash's left. Lash remained silent taking in the last section of the fugue with his eyes closed. He knew his people were tired of pretending to be something they were not. He knew they had stomached being part of the governments of the known region's pathetic lackeys. They had spent a decade serving the known regions, assisting their governments, saving their people, fighting their wars. They had seen the rise and fall of over a dozen governments in their time in the known regions. None ever fully ascertaining the true intentions of the Chiss. None had ever seen the real mission or their true motives. Lash and his people had always been on the same mission, never faulting never swerving off the path. They were there to manipulate the stupid races of the known regions. keep them looking inward towards themselves and away from the edge of the galaxy. Have their wandering eyes evading the unknown and the space that was the home of the Chiss Ascendancy. They may no longer be welcome by the Chiss people but they will never stop defending them.

"They are a means to an end old friend. The same as the others. They are in the business of causing havoc and sowing discontent and chaos throughout the galaxy. I have been waiting for them to rise. Waiting for a thing that can further our mission without directly revealing our true nature. The Agents of Chaos will give us the opportunity to directly influence the political arena of the known regions with a degree of ambiguity. They can not know our hearts. They can not feel our pain. They can never know we are there. We have to seem as if we are part of nothing and everything at the same time. With the aid of the AOC we can manipulate and shape the agenda of many governments throughout the galaxy. We need only show the galaxy a face not colored blue. We will aid them in their struggle to overturn regimes and keep their eyes off of us while doing so." lash said as he opened his eyes to watch the blurred star lines vanish and explode into the darkly light reality of real space.

"I will see our guests in the guest hanger once we reach orbit captain. Please inform them," said Lash as he turned on his boot heel and walked back towards the lift. Time had come for him to put on the mask. For him to be who he was perceived to be, who he wanted people to think he was. With the Kuat system, before him and the chore beset him it was time for him to become the engineer.

Retired bounty hunter along with the infamous Agents of Chaos. Who would've thought it?

In his recent travels Orionus met the Agents, learning more first hand through his sources. Apparently the whole bunch are to liberate planets from galactic government, gathering enough to go against the Outer Rim. However he wasn't one for politics, instead seeking excitement in the best years of his life. With quick thinking and a stiff drink or two, he managed to accompany their ranks.

Cut to now and Orionus found himself in an awkward slience. These were certainly not the same Agents he managed to charm, nor was the job he was expecting. It didn't bother him for the most part, humming without any worry. After getting the heads up from a Chiss out of all races, things were set in motion.

Salem Norongachi couldn’t remember when he’d last visited Kuat. He guessed, idly as the transport rode the sensory assault that was hyperspace, that it was during his tenure as Prex of the Corporate Sector a couple of lifetimes ago. He adjusted his back against his seat trying to find a position where his spine wouldn’t complain, it was an impossible ask but hope springs eternal. Or was it after? It was bothering him that he couldn’t pin down a precise memory, like a splinter in his finger that no amount of coercion could remove.

The Hand of Fate had been built there, the vast orbital rings of the shipyard giving life to a vessel that would become his oldest friend's body. The thought of Emah out there in the black, charting a path through the unknown, granted him a brief reprieve from the mental torture.

Whenever it was someone probably got stabbed, shot or exploded (Quite often that someone was Salem himself and not necessarily in that order). Walk the same path a thousand times and you rarely stopped to smell the daisies, he mused with the philosophical mindset of a toddler with a full load. Maybe that was why he was here at all, rather than back on Eve tending his bar.

He’d done the Galaxy spanning governments, the dictatorships and seen the damage. Peace through superior firepower was never sustainable and, inevitably, said firepower was turned on the very peace it was built to maintain. So when Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter had wandered into his little slice of kark, losing half a pint of blood with every step, and spoke about the Agents of Chaos and their mission it had sounded naive and foolhardy (Give two monkeys a rock and before the day is out one of them will be suspiciously absent) but the old ways hadn’t worked.

“Reversion to realspace coming up folks.” came a voice of the ships internal com-system and Norongachi opened his eyes, gave his legs a stretch and fished a cigarra out of his jacket pocket. He lit it as the acid trip bubble outside the ship popped and thought “Was my armour always this tight around the midriff?”

Adora had not been present at the battles on Kuat and Alderaan. She had not been present for any battles with the Agents of Chaos, if one thought of it. A former cyber security expert for the Bank of Eriadu, the woman was as far as one could get from being a combatant, never even having held the most basic of blasters in her hands. She was as bourgeoisie as one could be, and thus had pulled raised eyebrows and extreme levels of shock from everyone in her life when she announced that she was leaving the secure life of having a set job on a money planet to join a bunch of insurgents in the Unknown Regions.

Everyone had warned her. Had warned her that it was too dangerous, that it wasn't stable enough, that her very life would constantly be in danger, not to mention her name popping up on endless lists of those who would make enemies out of them, and some that already had. But Adora, so fed up with her life and coming to hate almost every aspect of it, had not listened. Two suitcases were all she needed.

And then life on the Scintilla was everything that everyone had said it would not be. She found a job in Tech Town almost immediately, climbing through the hierarchy and now in charge of large portions of the entire space construct's cyber security, protecting it from other slicers and making sure all the digital crap functioned as it was meant to. And when news had arrived, that the Agents of Chaos had succeeded in repelling Republic and Grayson forces from Alderaan and Kuat, the joy she had felt in response was genuine. They had actually done it. Especially after the bad losses from Zonju V.

So when the requirement for a slicer to join the expedition for what they had in mind following that victory, Adora had decided it was time to leave the super safe constraints of her very large cubicle. She could've chosen anyone from Tech Town to go on this trip, but had ended up choosing herself, for once. A heavy backpack full of equipment lay next to her, on the ground. The cold temperatures were making sure the equipment would remain intact and not overheat.

Reversion to realspace.

They were almost there.

Adora looked around at the people gathered and bit her lip. Would she be stepping into the rings of Kuat with any of them directly? Would she be alone? She still wasn't certain.

But her heart beat wildly in excitement for what was to come within a handful of minutes.

Lash

Stela'shlit'nuruodo
Lash stepped into the hanger accompanied by four Chiss Guards. The group which had assembled for the mission were a mixed lot of scientists engineers hackers and criminals. Lash had no doubt of his unpopularity among many of the groups. For that reason, the guards were an unfortunate necessity. Many had come aboard before the jump and had been the guests of the Chiss since they had left the unknown regions. Some members of the group, having just arrived, were now acquainting themselves with others and acclimating to their new surroundings. Among them were few faces Lash knew. He had not made himself available for anyone since his arrival in AOC controlled space. His presence and co-operation with the AOC had been a safely kept secret until the group had boarded the Tremigant before departure. Even then none of the group had seen Lash until now.

Lash stepped up onto a small podium that had been set up by the hangers crew and looked out into the faces now looking back at him. "Welcome to the Termagant. I hope your stay aboard has been to your satisfaction. For our new guests who have just arrived. My name is Stela'shlit'nuruodo. I am the commander of this vessel and the Chiss retinue aboard her. We are here to aid your mission and for security if necessary. We are currently moving to dock with Kuat 7114. A mobile shipyard which has been marked for our organization to acquire. With our victory here recently we are expecting little to no resistance to this acquisition. This being said there may be elements of the former regime or even Kuati nobility who disagree with our mission here. IN the case of any hostile encounters we will provide security for our engineering teams," Lash said pausing a moment for the people assembled in the hanger to take in what he had said. Lash did not expect any resistance but he had not survived this long without preparations and expectations of the possibility.

"You all have your assignments and can get any further information from your team leaders. We will be docking with Kuat 7114 within the half-hour. from there you will board and carry out your tasks. Now, if you will excuse me I must see to our docking." said lash as he excused himself and turned and walked back out of the hanger with his accompanying guards.

"Stela'shlit'nuruodo."

The Chiss's name ringed a familiar tone to Orionus, too much so that it piqued his curiosity. However gathering news and names daily for over 35 years made things hard to remember, even for a Chiss name. This was the life of hunters and contractors, always to be informed to keep themselves on their toes in a cruel galaxy. Still, it should come to him eventually.

Back to the current situation at hand, he occurred a very cautious feeling returning to Kuat. Even with possible resistance, Orionus was not well liked on the upcoming planet. Some drinks one place, brawls another and high ranking bounties gone wrong. Sure the deeds were done (sloppily) and the Hutts were eventually pleased, but try to explain that to the natives. Orionus tried to make light of the mission to the others. "Who needs security when we have this lovely bunch of agents?"

The beeping in Adora's pocket distracted her from her own excitement. She blinked and reached for her commdevice, flicking it open. She hadn't actually expected anyone to call anytime soon. Her parents knew better than to try outside of their pre-agreed windows, her sister would just write to her instead of calling…

"Adora," came that deep voice.

Adora closed her eyes. Every time Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter called, she knew it was going to be bad. Well not bad, but… Chaotic? Weird? Wild? Definetly not how Adora usually operated. The last time she'd done something for the Sith woman, they'd ended up sending holos of exploding pink bunnies to everyone who was hooked to the holonetwork.

"No…" she whispered.

"Yes!" came an excited answer, "I'm sending you a song. I need you to play this on the speakers so that everyone on the ship hears it just before you go stealing or taking that shipyard. Also consider naming the shipyard the Pinkyard. You know this is the way."

The call was terminated. Adora sighed. Work. This was work. And it was better than stealing credits from those who had none and giving it to those who had so much that they didn't know what to do with that.

A few minutes later, Adora had sliced into the systems. And the song could be heard throughout the entire ship. She hoped she would not get fired from the mission for this. Her comm beeped again, and this time an image came through. It was a pink heart.

The ship began docking procedures with the Termagant and beyond Norongachi other diplomats and low level dignitaries prepared themselves for the task ahead. Sal knew, in the grand scheme, that they were here to secure a portion of the shipyards capacity but the wheels of bureaucracy rarely stopped there. It took an army under fire to secure a planet and it took an army in peace time to keep it that way.

Sal followed them out into the capital ship, the crowd splitting off as they all went to their areas before he brushed shoulders with Adora Belle Adora Belle . It was at this point the music rattled across the bulkheads, at a decibel Coruscant could hear, vibrating across his flesh and setting his teeth on end. He'd heard worse, he would have thought, if he could hear himself think.

Lash

Stela'shlit'nuruodo
Lash stepped through the doors of the lift into the brightly lit command and control center deep in the center of the Termigant. Around the room were monitors lining the walls with views from cameras on the external hull of the vessel. A 360 degree sphere of the vessel was displayed on the forward screens. Multiple screens along the flanking walls showed data from all the sensors of the vessel as well as views of the sensors on escorting vessels. Along the rear wall, displays showed combat readiness and unit situational data listing everything from shielding and hull strength to heat. In the center of the large room a round table sat with holographic transmitters and communications systems linked to the laser comm system as well as the subspace and hyperspace transceivers. From here Lash could monitor any of the displays around the room as well as a holographic representation of the system.
Lash stepped up to the table and looked at a small image representing the Termagant moving into the system towards the massive ring of shipyards circling Kuat.
"Sir Kuati control just contacted us. I transmitted the fake orders and they seem to be allowing us to dock." said the communications sub commander. "Very well, Take us in slow Helm," said Lash watching the image of the shipyard slowly growing larger. The massive destroyer slowly moved into the gantry work of the slipway. around the ship the frame of the shipyard engulfed the vessel bringing it to a stop and locking onto the vessel with tractor beams moving into position. the muffled bang of the grappling moors reverberated throughout the ship rumbling the hull softly as it attached the ship to the shipyards gantry work. Lash watched as the boarding umbilicus swung out attaching to the boarding hatches silently pressurizing preparing for the work crews to board.

"When the hatches open have the assault teams move in and take the yard. Our fleet will arrive in five minutes so we are on our own till then," said Lash as he sat back in his command chair waiting for the assault to start. A moment later the doors opened to the airlock umbilicus and the assembled assault forces poured out onto the shipyard. instantly alarms sounded throughout the mobile shipyard as its small security force reacted to the onslaught.

"Commander, when the fleet arrives patch me through to the Vertikat." said Lash as the count down began. SIr the shipyard has sent out a message asking for help. The defense force is responding sir." said a tactical officer to Lash's left. Lash nodded and watched a hologram filled the center of the room displaying the position of the shipyard and the Kuati defense vessels now moving to answer the shipyards distress message.

"How long till their assault craft get into our point defense cannons range?" Lash ask one of the officers at the weapons section of the command room. "one minute twenty seconds sir" said the officers. Lash looked at the small cloud of craft moving from one of the orbital rings garrison stations.

"once they within range fire but do not hit the shipyards gantry. and launch our interceptors" answered. small icons began to appear on the holo display moving away from the Termagant moving towards the incoming assault craft. Down below the assault forces continued to board the shipyard working their way deeper and deeper into the structure towards the command section and the engineering room. Both would have to be secured before the mobile yard could be readied for the jump out of the system. Lash stood and walked to the center to watch the action on the holo image closer. All around the shipyard small craft began engaging one another as the escorting fighters moved up to engage the Termagants interceptors ahead of the assault craft. Further away from the yard, cruisers, destroyers, and frigates had turned to move towards the yard. A large ship had turned to move towards the yard which Lash had identified as a battlecruiser. It would be the main target for the fleet once it jumped into the system. Bringing it down would go a long way towards making a statement as well as taking the most powerful target off the board. a moment later the fleet popped into existence as they exited hyperspace.

"Now the game begins," said Lash cupping his hands behind his back with a grin.

No one had to know what she'd done. The music blared overhead, and Adora winced, trying to block the last few minutes from her consciousness. Come on and slam! And welcome to the jam! Horrifying. Tasteless. The only cancellation in it was that she was not about to lose her job. Or at least, she hoped she wasn't.

Peeking out through the window, she could see the rings of Kuat in their full splendor. They were a magnificent thing to look at, though their size was intimidating to the young woman. Then again, seeing the SCintilla on the outside also made her uncomfortable more often than not. Adora was definitely not a spacer or space type of person. She liked gravity, a good desk, and vending machines.

A protocol droid was standing next to her, appearing to be looking at the rings as well.

"Impressive, aren't they?" she whispered, a hand pressed against the glass. The droid didn't answer her. Maybe he wasn't a protocol droid after all, but just looked like one. Or maybe he wasn't allowed to speak to strangers? She'd seen more than one or two droids be treated like little children in the past. It was… Odd. And sad. Mostly sad.

"Well we're out of hyper space," she said a moment later, "I suppose this means things are about to start, right?"

Sasmay snorted awake in her armor as the ship dropped from hyperspace. Her whole life had been dedicated to being ready to move cargo as a slave before joining the agents of chaos, and the drops from hyperspace had barely escaped her senses before she'd had their training. Now she just had guaranteed sleep time between jobs when she was being transported by others. Pushing herself up and off the floor with help from her LMG, stretching commenced quickly after. Her helmet had updated with the information for the job, and mid stretch she had to stop and listen to the music that was blaring over the comms. The knowing laugh came from her as she stretched her legs, her compacted sleeping form taking up little room in the corner of wherever she was.

Meeting room? Bridge? She couldn't recall off hand as she spied a woman looking through the glass. The LMG went to her shoulder, other hand feeling for the rest of her gear as she tromped over to the window also and took in the view with a whistle of approval. "Nice view. Hopeful their won't be any debris next time I look." She spoke to Adora Belle Adora Belle before double taking at the docking umbilical. "Ah chit, woke up late. You going aboard or stayin' here?"

The world before spun lazily, unaware and uncaring to the approaching fleet. The shipyards, a ring of metal with the sole purpose of birthing ships into the void. Sal found himself looking down at it, its almost imperceptible spin matching that of the planet. He barely noticed the other two, drawn as he was to thoughts of days long gone, ships he had commanded with the Kuat hallmark upon their quadanium beams. They died like any other, of course, but there was a prestige of serving upon a warship built at Kuat.

"I suppose this means things are about to start right?" He heard and it was enough to snap him out of the past. He cast a glance down at the two women fished out a cigarra from his pocket before setting its end aflame.

Aora couldn't help but smile as the woman near her mentioned the debris. She thought it looked great with the rings, gave them a certain sense of real when this structure, to her, looked like it was bigger than life itself. Maybe it was. She couldn't imagine what they were just about to do to it, which was part of why she had asked to tag along in the first place.

"I think you woke up just on time," she said gently, "I'd love to come with you guys… I'm just not sure how useful I could be. I'm not strong or anything, I just type really fast."

Looking at the man who'd just spoken, Adora wrinkled her nose in response to the cigar he was smoking. She loathed the smell of those things, enough to ask for her office to be moved when her old one was initially placed a few floors above the smoking area behind the building. The view was nice, but Adora was a hardcore fan of breathing.

"I hope so!" she mentioned.

Through the windows, the three would notice as machinery began to operate.

"How does it work, anyway?" she asked, "Do we have gigantic magnets that just take a piece off and we run away with it before anyone notices us? Is that even safe?"

Herah decided to dawn the Haywire armor it was light yet did the job as she packed up her energy bow and a couple of swords as she checked out her gear, They were here to collect a shipyard and she was here to assist as she observed Adora Belle Adora Belle and Salem Norongachi Salem Norongachi have there chat for abit as Adora made a comment about how to do this and mentioned magnets and stealing a piece, She simply stood up and headed on over before speaking.

Since when has most of what we been safe? Either way we have a shipyard to take or a piece im not terribly picky im just here to slash and blow things up.

She said with a smile on her face that screamed there might be a few screws loose in this girls head, Either that or the peoples shes met so far is rubbing off her personality, Either way she enjoyed the lovely song that played , Granted she enjoyed a great deal of her time among these chaotic folk letting her do what she wants within reason with freedom and joy that comes with it as she hummed to the tune abit as she waited to see if the others wanted to move in first. LAshes fleet slowly moved in towards the shipyard now attached to the Termagant. Inside the structure, assault forces moved from section to section securing the yard in preparation for it to be taken out of the system. Lash stood watching the Kuati vessel slowly move in to intercept the Termagant and the station.
"Commander, We have been informed our engineering teams have begun the process of connecting the Termigant to the station's navigation systems. We should be able to jump with the station in half an hour." said the officer at Lash's side. Lash nodded then went back to watching the large vessel begin to fire on his Fleet which now engaged it.
"Captain, have the fleet reposition fifteen degrees to port," said Lash eyeing the battlecruiser in the distance. The officer went to carry out his order leaving Lash to concentrate on the battle raging in front of him. The Termagant was now attached to the Shipyard and his Chiss engineering teams were connecting the structure to the Terigants systems. Soon he, the Termagant, and the shipyard would all jump clear of the systems and move the yard into AOC space for their use.
The fleet began to move into a new position all while continuing its assault on the massive battlecruiser the Juati had moved in to engage them. The Kuati battlecruiser began to turn and position itself for an optimal fire arc on the Chiss fleet and slowly moved exactly where Lash wanted it.
"Tactical, spin up the energy torp projectors," Said Lash as he continued to watch the battlecruiser. He waited a moment then a tactical officer informed him the reactor was charged and the projectors were ready. Lash paused watching the massive battlecruiser move slowly until it was directly in front of the Termagants prow. "FIre"
The ship vibrated as the two hundred heavy energy torpedo projectors fired instantly slamming into the massive battlecruiser in from of him. A blinding flash caused the viewports to go balk as the energy contained inside the charged containment fields erupted against the shielding of the massive ship.

Another voice had joined the fray, the one of @Hera. Adora looked at her, but said nothing. She wasn't sure what to say. She wasn't even used to being around the combatant portion of the Agents of Chaos; after all, she was just a slicer. A high-up slicer, but a slicer still. She couldn't battle with magic spells or big guns, all she could do was type faster and smarter than her opponents.

But before anyone said anything else, the vibrations of the ship caused Adora's eyes to widen, and a moment later she ran towards the windows again, looking outside to see what was happening.

She saw the torpedoes launch, and then averted her gaze in response to the flash.

"Is that okay?" she asked, looking wildly around once she the stars occupied only half of her vision, "Is that how it's supposed to happen?"

The helmet turned to the voice that joined them, another of the combatants that Sasmay was fairly acquainted with. The brash violence was certainly the woman's style, as it was for most of the Wild Hunt's members. She opened her mouth to speak, the vibration of the ship drawing her attention outside as she watched the torpedo's speed away with a bang. A slow nod was given to the sight, visor shading to cover the sight befor looking back to the woman she had spoken to first.

"Those, yes. I don't imagine they like us coming and nicking the shipyard." Sasmay chuckled, turning on her heel before walking towards the clamp and docking tube. "Keep your head down if you come along! Worse comes to worse, just get behind me. Fair decent shield." Sasmay joked with a rap on her chest plate before taking off into a sprint after two handing the gun.

Her run was a touch longer than she wanted, finally making it to the tube and peeking around the corners before blowing out a breath and moving to join the assault team in their sweep.

Sal raised the cigarra to his lips and caught the look from Adora Belle Adora Belle , a sigh escaped his lips and he crushed its end against the metal bulkhead before slipping the stub into his trouser pocket.

“This is a secondary shipyard we’re after,” he began, addressing no one in particular. “It isn’t part of the primary orbital ring. Get the tech boys into engineering, they slave the yards drive to ours and we clear command. Jump it out and hey presto, we can lay hulls at The Scintilla.”

Norongachi took a moment to check the energy pack in the blaster on his hip and then the magnetic clip that secured his lightsaber to his belt. He adjusted the bog-standard body armour and then took out his blaster and after a moment's consideration gently tossed it toward the slicer. “Just point and shoot and like she said,” he nodded toward the retreating form of Sasmay Cull Sasmay Cull . “stay behind us, never know when you’ll need a slicer.” Salem said walking backwards before turning into a run after the soldier.

The energy torpedos slammed into the Kuati warship with a flash brighter than the sun. The warship shuddered as the impact overpowered the shielding and slammed into the hull. The energy torpedos advantage was it instantly crossed the battlefield traveling twenty percent the speed of light. However they were unguided and only traveled in a straight line. a few of the torpedoed missed the target traveling out passed it into space before their integrity broke down and the energy was dissipated. Enough hit that the Kuati ship had suffered severe damage to ids shielding and a far bit of hull had been scorched and melted. The shot had for sure gotten the attention of the Kuati forces. a cruiser which had been escorting the larger ship had now begun to turn in the direction of the shipyard.

"Have the Overlord target that cruiser," said Lash watching the heavy cruiser begin to fire on the Termigant. the order was relayed and a moment later the ISD III released a lance from its proton beam cannon striking the cruiser amidships. the kilometer-long beam tore through the shielding then penetrated the cruisers hull lancing through its armor than out the far side of the vessel and continued off till is dissipated. The shot had left the cruiser with a gaping hole in its side and its power fluctuating as sparks ignited the atmosphere escaping the vessel only to quickly be extinguished by the vacuum of space.

"How are out boarding teams progressing General" asked Lash of the Chiss standing beside him. "They have entered the station and are now making their way to engineering sir," said the man. Laash said nothing and continued to watch the Kuati forces maneuver haphazardly as they were confused as to which was the more dangerous target. "Charge the energy torpedoes for another shot. We will cripple that destroyer before we go. That should be a sufficient show of force for now. Order the fleet to cover us until we depart" Lash ordered. There was an explosion as the cruiser split into to halves severed by the beam and succumbing to secondary damage from the impact. Lash watched the two halves of the ship float away from each other slowly then turned to face the General. I leave command to you General, I will join the engineering teams aboard the station." said Lash. The Chiss general nodded as Lash left the CIC and boarded the lift.

Lash walked out onto the gantryway and across the boarding umbilicus. A flash of light to his left caused him to shield his eyes as the energy torpedo projectors fired once again on the Kuati Destroyer. That should be enough to take the fight out of the ship he thought to himself. If not the fleet would finish the job. Lash walked up to a group of five Chiss and nodded down the corridor. "Find the main control coupling near engineering while the fodder distracts them," Lash ordered and pulled out a vibrosword and began walking down the corridor.

Adora looked at Sasmay Cull Sasmay Cull when she mentioned following her. Following her? Adora blinked. She wasn't supposed to just be here to witness? To enjoy the sights? Seeing a part of the rings of Kuat be removed and taken back home? Salem Norongachi Salem Norongachi further explained the situation, and all she could do was just nod. She didn't understand the logics of most of it. People were sometimes so strange.
