Sanctuary for two plus one please?

Darren was meditating in the back if the YT-1300 with his fathers gold Phrik lightsaber hanging in the air being reconstructed over and over again. It was a priceless item as it had once been in the hands of the one he loved dearly. A beeping sound echoed in the ship telling him that they were about to get out of hyperspace. Darren reconstructed the lightsaber and plucked it from the air. He got up and as he walked to his room said through the force to Calum "Bring us planet side where the red dot is on the map."

Darren had shown his apprentice the ropes for flying his ship. He entered his room and put on his armor. It was easier to carry clothes with the force than his force resistant armor. He put his now 4 lightsabers on his belt and the sith sword on his back. The red lightsaber he thought about giving it to Calum because he no longer needed it. though he would replace the red crystal with the green hued black cored one. He never really liked the crimson blade to begin with.

Calum Finley had been almost dozing off on the pilot's seat. He woke up from his sleep when he heard Darren's voice projected into his head by the Force. As he woke up from his short doze, Calum heard a beeping sound as he looked out the window and saw the blurs of stars slowing down as their ship was exiting light-speed. He was once again excited as he remembered that he was no longer a sixteen year old that was stuck in a cycle of poverty in the depths of Coruscant's Underworld. He was now a Dark Jedi's new apprentice, and had realized he had a new future by studying to become a Dark Jedi Knight like his master.

Calum glanced back from the cockpit to see Darren returning to the cockpit. Apparently one could tell that their ship was exiting hyperspace even while in meditation. "Bring us planet side where the red dot is on the map." instructed the Dark Jedi Knight. A lush, green world had appeared before the cockpit's window. Could that be that one planet that he had heard about from the pilots that had visited the tavern he worked in? He decided to voice out his questions out loud as he steered the YT-1300 into a descent towards the green world. "Is that... Kashyyyk?"

Darren walked into the the cockpit with his armor on except for his helmet. He heard his apprentice ask if it was Kashyyyk. He smiled and nodded his head. "Yes it is. Now bring us to the red dot." he went back to his room shaking his head. Darren packed all of his items into his bag that he would carry into his house. It was full of his clothes tools and credits that he would need on the run. It was his back up bag.

Darren felt the ship lerch as it landed on the ground near his house. The ramp opened up to a grassy plain with forest all around. "I hope you like walking because we are going to do alot of it."

Kashyyyk. It was quite a beautiful planet. Compared to the gleam of the city of Corellia and Coruscant, Kashyyyk looked a lot less hectic... and a whole more lush. "Yes it is. Now bring us to the red dot." Calum nodded, focusing on the red dot in the ship's navigator. Their YT-1300 roared past vast amounts of lush green forests. He pulled back on the thrust, slowing down the ship for a descent. With a press of a button, the ship's landing gears were lowered, and a whine of the engines and the lerch told that they had touched down on the grounds of Kashyyyk.

"I hope you like walking because we are going to do alot of it." Calum inwardly groaned, feeling tired from the trip. No matter. He'd show his new master that he had the potentials to become a good Dark Jedi Knight. "Yeah, I'm ready..." said Calum as he followed his master down the landing ramp. The only thing Calum had with him was a small knife and his clothes. Not a single credit on him. Wondering where Darren's 'sanctuary' could be, he followed the older male.

Darren saw Calum follow behind him so he walked forward. Really his house was in the opposite direction they were currently waking in. He didn't tell Calum however because Calum was already in the training stage. This was a test of endurance and pain. He would make Calum walk out to the very end of the forest and around the side. In a sense they were taking the long way around.

Darren began walking and asked out loud. "Are there any questions that you have for me Calum? If you do speak now or forever hold your peace."

The air on this planet was quite humid. It was a big difference compared to Coruscant's polluted air. So apparently the house was in the forest... Or it appeared to be so since they were walking in that direction. He walked faster to keep up with the Dark Jedi's pace. "Are there any questions that you have for me Calum? If you do speak now or forever hold your peace." Calum grinned. So he finally got the chance to ask questions. "Yeah, I have a few, actually."

Calum walked a few more paces before voicing out his questions. "Right... so first off. You said that you were being hunted down or something. By whom exactly..? And can I ask why?" There were several other questions in his mind, but this was by far one of the things Calum really wanted to know. As he was asking the question, they were approaching the end of the forest, and Calum was getting a bit tired...

Calum Finley said:
Right... so first off. You said that you were being hunted down or something. By whom exactly..? And can I ask why?"
Yes Dark Jedi are always hunted by someone or an entire Empire. Currently The Sith Empire is hunting me for helping a Traitor. The Traitor is my closest friend. and since I helped him get away I was captured in the process. For that I made a Deal with the Empress and she let me go." Darren was not going to give out his friends name because sometimes apprentices went behind your back the first chance they could get. Darren continued to walk forward with his apprentice. "I, in my life, have made alot of people pissed off. When you are a Dark Jedi everybody hates you."

"...When you are a Dark Jedi everybody hates you."
Calum blinked at the last statement. Surely, a life as a Dark Jedi couldn't be as difficult of that as a tavern worker..? As the Corellian listened, he realized that his master seemed to be trying to be as blunt as he could on the information. He shrugged. It just showed that neither of them completely trusted each other. After all, they had met each other barely ten hours ago. He was panting by the time he managed to ask his next question.

"Tell me some things about yourself. So I know your name is Darren Shaw. You've got white hair and blue eyes, and you look to be in your mid-20s. I'd like to learn more about my mentor... If you tell me some things about yourself, I'll tell you more about me."

Darren smiled as he walked forward. His apprentice wanted to know more about him. That was fine. "You're in for a long story my friend." Darren slowed down so he was walking next to Calum. That way they could talk face to face. "Yes I have unnatural white hair and blue eyes that glow when I use the force. I dont know why but they do." He shook his head. "I once was a Sith soldier. just a normal grunt when the council found out that I was force sensitive. From then on I was trained as a Sith. I never really liked it there. So I left. When that happened my Mother was tortured and beaten in a chance they could get me back. Instead I went to the Jedi. where I finished my training. I then set off with out the Jedi Orders grace after my mother. In the process I mad a few friends met someone that I thought I trusted and helped her into power only to have her slap me in the face." he was not mentioning his father because that was a Dark secret that he only shared with one person. The person who he believed to betray him. "I am now on the run looking for my Traitor friend and now training you." Darren continued to walk forward.

Calum listened intently to Darren's story. So his eyes glowed when he used the Force? That was pretty cool. He listened closely, and realized Darren didn't seem to have had a very easy life. But, ofcourse, neither had he. "Well... I guess I'll tell you my story, I guess. I was born into a dead-poor family in Coronet City in Corellia. I never knew my father since he left when I was young... my mother died in a factory accident a few years after that. I came to Coruscant by selling my sisters into slavery, and have worked in that tavern you visited for about three years. And right now, I'm here in Kashyyyk. And one last question, Darren. Where the heck is your sanctuary?"

Calum was exhausted by now, and wondered where his master's sanctuary could possibly be.

Calum was exhausted by now, and wondered where his master's sanctuary could possibly be.

Darren had now heard for the second time that he sold his sisters to be slaves. Hopefully it was just a mistake that he had caused. His story was just like others where they were poor and in need of help. He was once like that and now he was considered rich. though he didnt like to be. Darren laughed at Calums last question f where was the sanctuary. "Calum we are not that far. Just a little longer, and I'll give you your first lesson now. Everything comes to those who wait." He wanted him to realize that not everything came and went with just a snap of the fingers. You had to wait ponder and think about what was ahead. In doing this it would help him meditate easily.

Calum groaned. He heard that phrase many times before. "We are not that far." While some actually meant it, some people described 'not far' as being a hundred miles away. It simply depended on who the person was. Darren Shaw, Calum decided, was someone who he could somewhat trust. Summoning his remaining strength, Calum walked faster, listening as his master told him that he'd recieve his first lesson soon, and that everything comes to those who wait. Everything comes to those who wait. What a stupid phrase. He and his sisters were in poverty, waiting in the streets constantly, begging for food or spare change. He had figured out for himself on the streets of Corellia that things don't come to you if don't reach and grab for it. As he continued to walk, Calum could feel his muscles aching.
"Are we there now..?"

Darren knew that the words wouldnt stick in his head now, but they will later. it always ended up that way. From what he could tell The young man had spent alot of time on the streets. and so he was not a person of patience. It didnt mater. Calum asked again if they were their yet. Darren knew that they were with in feet of the open area of his hut. Darren stopped and faced his apprentice when the reached the end of the forest. "This is the opening that my Sanctuary is in." Darren opened his hand towards the general direction of his hut "You may go and find my Sanctuary out of the forest and make yourself at home. Rest up and have a drink of water or other such things I own." He then dropped his hand and pointed at himself "Or you may continue waling with me and learn about what and who you really are." he then pointed at his head followed by his chest where a human heart would be. "From the very brain and heart that function in your body." Although His apprentice may want to rest. in real life you never rest. and no matter if you have a chance to you don't rest.

"You may go and find my Sanctuary out of the forest and make yourself at home. Rest up and have a drink of water or other such things I own. Or you may continue waling with me and learn about what and who you really are." Calum looked up warily at Darren. This felt, no, he knew this had to be some sort of a test of his patience. And he was determined not to fail. Indeed, a drink of water at this point was so tempting... But the alternative was tempting as well, perhaps even more than just a drink of water. Knowing that he'd hate himself for not quenching his thirst first, Calum chose to talk. "I suppose walking a bit more won't hurt... Please, do tell me what and who I really am to become."

Darren nodded his head and sat his clothes down where he was standing. He took of his armor which left him with just his robes. Darren sat his white lighsabers down and carried his Crimson and Icy blue bladed lightsabers in his hands. "Come with me." Darren then walked on to a different open spot where there was a cliff on the end of the plain. He walked to the center and sat them down. He stepped back about 4 meters and face his apprentice. "Protect yourself with everything you have." Darren called upon the force to his gold hilt lightsaber and ignited the blade. only to rush him.

His exhaustion overwhelmed by curiosity and interest, Calum followed Darren to an open area near a cliff. The scenry set before them was magnificent: giant trees stretched for miles in the horizon. In the distance from his view at the cliff, he could see smoke, probably from a nearby Wookiee city. "Protect yourself with everything you have." These words took the Corellian teenager by suprise. He looked and saw that his master had ignited his gold lightsaber and was rushing towards him. What did he have..? Calum checked his pocket. A half-eaten energy bar and his pocket knife. Neither would be any good against his master's lightsaber. He then did the most logical thing: Calum, summoning his energy, lept upwards swiftly, jumping over his master.

OOC: the hilt is gold the blade is Blue from a permafrost crystal.

IC: Darren stopped and faced his apprentice. He smiled and stopped. "Maybe you should find a weapon on the ground before I stab you through." HDarren looked down at the ground and shook his head. "The thing you saw me place down in the center is what you will need." Darren charged again at his apprentice.

OOC: 'Kay. And welcome back! :)

IC: "Maybe you should find a weapon on the ground before I stab you through. The thing you saw me place down in the center is what you will need." Calum nodded, and looked down at the ground, where he found a lightsaber hilt. Thinking quickly and giving a quick glance at his master who was rushing towards him again, Calum snatched the lightsabers and ignited it, revealing it to be a crimson red blade. Just in time, Calum reached forward and managed to somewhat block his master's attacking using his lightsaber.

Darren smiled as the red blade sprang into the gap between his apprentice and himself. he didnt say a word as with a flick of his wrist would take the blade out of his apprentices hands. "Defend yourself.." he yelled. it echoed in the forest around them. Darren took a step back and pointed the blue blade at his apprentice, and with a soft tone he continued. "...With the force" Darren brought his left hand forwards and released a ball of electric energy at his apprentice.
