Sanctum Military Intelligence

How do, folks.

So I was discussing with a couple of Sanctum members about the possibility of setting up an Intelligence Agency for the SSC, kind of like MI5 MI6 (James Bond style, of course)

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in this being worked on? It won't be an immediate addition, naturally, and I've spoken to [member="Connor Harrison"] about them possibly working alongside the Shadows (which would make sense)

The idea is that they would be a NFU branch of the Sanctum (Though I doubt they'd argue against a Force User joining their ranks.)

Anyway, this is just a way to gauge if there's even an interest or demand for this kind of covert roleplay.

Do you mean foreign or domestic intelligence?


Bond works for MI6 (SIS), which handles foreign intelligence. MI5 is the domestic counterintelligence and security service.


Unless you want to put both under one umbrella, like the KGB did.

WELL I love the idea - if you need help with it, then Adiara could be the Chief of Intelligence for the Sanctum, working with the Masters and whatnot for all sorts of public and high-profile incidents and business but for the more....dangerous side of things, he could be the M to Connor and the Silver Shadows (giving us more of an excuse to get them going again) - doing the jobs that need to be kept a little more low-profile. The 00 Section if you will, to fuel your Bond fix.

Which I approve of, naturally. James Bond is life.

This is exactly the kind of thing I was thinking!

Then again we did brainstorm, and have both wanted Bond fixes, for a while now

I definitely like the idea of the Shadows getting involved as a pseudo-00 program!

Boo was equivalent to a 00 agent for the Primeval MI6 (Bleeding Sun), so I can always James Bond, Jr it up

But I haven't involved him with the Shadows because he's not a Jedi. So this might be a good fit.

The Shadows need to be rebooted - the promise is there but we never get anything going as we generally act under the Faction as a whole, never doing anything separate.

I will try again and hopefully inject some new direction with it.

I'd be open to doing something with the Shadows. Maybe instead of reviving that as a separate spy agency, there's a way to marry both ideas here since they seem to overlap.

Boo (during his short time as one of [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]'s Silver Guardians) was exposed to the Shadows existence during the Felucia dominion (the story of which was a continuation of his story from the Tash-Taral dominion), which went horribly and resulted in the death of Boo's team as well as the death of the rogue Jedi Shadow he'd been sent to bring back to Voss.
