- Variable Length: The hilts and blades are able to with the controls reach different lengths for different uses. From duelphase and broad style for deflection to the hilts being shotos or reaching saber pike length. Even strong enough to function like pole vaults able to support Caltins weight for moving around.

- Enhanced Deflection: The lens and emitter are designed to adjust and allow the blades to switch to a better model for deflection capabilities against blasters and even function against paddle beamers easily enough.
- Crystal Assembly: The enhanced and extended crystal assembly is made that Caltin can place several crystals in it and create useful combinations of his sabers effects.
- Flexible: The slicewire blade functions like a lightwhip able to move and bend to different angles. The mixture of energy and physical based makes it similar to lumiya's lightwhip in trying to counter and the wire itself uses blood stones.
- Blood poisoning: The bloodstones mixed into the metals can potentially add a dangerous effect, the wire can infect the body with poisoning and cause intense pain if it slices into the skin.
- Enhanced Cutting Power: With the lens and power as well as emitters and crystal combination the cutting power can make materials like vong crab armor, beskar and phrik butter beneath the blade.
- Variable Modes: Able to change for deflection, cutting, duel phase length, even deflecting paddle beams at the cost of being unable to deflect standard blaster bolts. The saber is a technical wonder.
- Functionality: The crystal lens allows it to cut cortosis without deactivating, the ignition pulse allows it to work underwater, adjustment lets it go from a thin and focus blade for dueling or cutting into a broad and flateblade to deflect and defend. The exotic metals used in it allow the saber to literally become impossibly heavy for anyone elsetrying to touch and hold it except Ikki.
- Exotic Matter: The ethereal nature of the metal makes it near weightless despite being and looking dense within the pocket dimension of dream. In realspace it can be grasped and there is a steady supply able to be used by Ikki. When smelted with other materials it can decrease the weight of the material created by 50 percent. The exotic structure with the solidified force energy being able to skirt gravity as it has mass but does not become weighed down as long as there is force energy within it. When smelted and added to materials that are largely heavy it can reduce the weight depending on how much is use (ie: a few grams compared to ingots.. a couple grams might take off some pounds while an ingot will reduce the weight but also the quality of the metal since it doesn't augment the resistances.
- Physics Meet Metal bat: Being from the dream pocket dimension the metal has unique properties generated and made by Krass. in this case it is psychoreactive and able to be bonded to a single person. That person can then bring it to them like they were holding a massive magnet with the range being hard to determine as they have to be able to sense and feel it.
- Mental Control: The tetherite wires are able to be mentally controlled by Ikki to a degree she can move each one at the speed her mind can work at it. The energy wrapped slicewire sabers are made to be extensions of her will.
- Force Nullification: The sabers while a technical achievement also use the force to give them many of their effects. Without it they are heavy and normal metal with an unstable power source that has lost some of its filtering and enhancement.
- Exotic Matter: The tetherite and solarite metals are explosive when they come into contact with anti or dark matter.
- Mirrors Interior: The sophisticated mirrors used to shrink down the internal components are important and damaging them is on of the more dangerous things as it can cause the sabers to explode or cease functioning.
- Protective Qualities: Largely non protective in qualities as it doesn't fully adhere to the rules of physics. The metal looks dense and like it would be highly protective but it isn't.
Crafted using ground up blood stones and cortosis with durasteel. The classic slicewire had proven useful to the ASA maid and for her skills but Isley Verd her master and the one paying her for her services only ever delivered on her net launcher. So Ikki was out in the cold as she worked to fight for the ASA with little other reason then she had a room and a bed with them.
Then she was at the invasion of Naboo and fought the Princess of Theed in a brutal battle that showed her how much she had been improving with the wire, when she dispatched the one group of guards who had gotten onto the scene of the fight first. Well that had proven useful but against a palace the small amount of slicewire with limited ranger couldn't handle it.
So she improvised and while dragging the Princess towards the sewers the two of them got into a brawl that ended with her lay at the bottom of a shaft in contaminated water. She spent the next few days in bacta fighting the infections and getting her fingers that had been bitten off by the girl replaces. Small cybernetics that could be under to house spools of slicewire of a longer length.
That was the plan and she went to work using what she found when she was helping the silver jedi on Shri-tal investigate in their search for information on the hammers. She found a box of the blood jewels and ground them into a fine powder adding it with cortosis and then both into durasteel. The process for creating new slicewire being done so she could have it.
The new spools were for her fingers going into specially designed gloves that used carbonite casings to protect her fingers and tips to add a little weight to the ends of the wire. A little pin release so she could pull out and pull back in wire for function adding to her gloves weight but it would prove heavier then she was used to. She took a little time to gt used to it but it wouldn't be a factor.
The thinness of the wire making dexterity a small issue but she could still wrap her fingers around the trigger of her net launcher. The wire in practice able to cut through most heavy armors with beskar snapping the wires. Phrik proved similarly as ineffective but below those materials most went through like butter save super dense and heavy metals.
Then there was the cortosis in a good enough concentration to add resistant properties to the wire, it could block and wrap around a saber but would not be cut. It can be snapped like pulling a line taunt enough and then tugging can snap the line, it can be controlled when focused on with telekinetics which is something Ikki uses it for through training being able to see the gleam of the thin wire.
The only additional thing about it and there is a small chance thanks to the Devaronian blood jewels being crushed into a powder is... The chance to poison ones who are attacked. The jewels making the wire cause excruciating pain to exposed skin and when they touch the blood stream the dangerous poison can be cause from the reaction. The stones being used for torture and crushed by people to be added to blades in the creation process.
The year have been kind and with new technologies from Sasori and improved designs that have been being worked on. The jedi master has developed newslicewire and infused it with both the force as well as saber technologies. Making it almost molecule thin lightwhips using the saber technologies. With crystals in her gloves that will allow her to channel them and control them with her mind and the force.
Everythign she has done to redevelop them into the finest tools and something that the jedi master can bring out and look nondescript compared to many of the other blades.
