Intent: To allow the engineers, slicers and other technical folk of the Red Ravens to have a strong, reliable and high technological tool with them on missions, (hopefully) overpowering most other standard transportable computer devices.

Modularity: Not really, no. In basic sense it is a computer strapped to your chest and that makes you able to easily change out the hardware of said computer, anymore than that however it cannot change.

Having a large influx of Slicers in the circles of the crime syndicate The Red Ravens, Jennifer, a member of this syndicate decided to help improve the gear of these folk in order to help their mission success rate increase since some of the slicers were captured by the Black Sun during one of said missions.
The Sandro V.2.08 is in a very basic sense a computer in a harness strapped to your chest. This makes it very easy to transport if you would otherwise want to transport something just as powerful on the go. However this also means that since it is a chunk of metal on your chest it is harder to hide than ordinary slicing tools, such as the datapad. Due to its larger nature than the simple datapad one can expect a longer battery life than usually, the battery being embedded in the aluminium case.
Due to the numerous ports on the computer it’s easier to physical wire and or connect it to exterior networks or sources. The computer in itself comes with a high grade CPU and is in general a strong machine. With this it comes with custom calculation and slicing software developed by Dragon Droids Pty. With this it also comes with highly developed encryption security which makes it so that only people who have been registered on the Red Raven's CryptNet can access it. As in a sort of login system. This is built into the core code of the machine and is therefor very hard to surpass or get around.
Even though minimal it is needed to be said that it could potentially provide some sort of protection to the upper body, not against lightsabers nor firearms, which would definitely and easily destroy the computer. But if a vibroknife was aimed for your chest and the computer blocked its way it could certainly mean the difference between life and death.
The Sandro is meant for operations where a typical datapad won’t cut it.
