Vallory had been waiting on the beaches of Spira for quite some time. Hoping to surprise her partner once more. But this time, it was just a beach. A beach under the dark night sky, with occasional twinkling stars above. Blinking over her, like jewels...like the crystals in the icy walls of Ilum. Thinking back to that, she glanced to the sand below her bare feet. She had donned a dress, something she rarely did. But her master, Stardust was influencing much of what Vallory did lately, not even purposefully. Going to more formal meetings, and such.

Vallory had used some credits she borrowed from Stardust to hire out this area. After what had been happening in the galaxy, Vallory thought it best that Nyx get some well earned rest. So there she stood, hands behind her back. Looking out to the dark blue ocean.

Nyx had decided it was best if she took the scenic route to this meeting with her love, she had taken her small ship and docked it at one of the towns inland, from there she took a shuttle most of the way to the meeting spot before getting out, she wanted it to be nothing but her and her love, no sounds that didn't belong or ugly star fighters messing up her perfect view.

As she approached her love her foot steps almost silent on the sand the small woman wore a short skirt and a tight shirt tied up exposing her midriff "Hello love"

Vallory sighed, looking out over the sea. What creatures would dwell in there, on this planet of paradise? Anything dangerous? Perhaps, it was an ocean. An ocean that stretched out far. The cool air around her blew around, and it made her shiver slightly. Maybe it wasn't smart to stand out here alone in the dark, like this. In the cold breeze. But soon, someone else came along to her aid. There she was. Vallory turned quickly, to see Nyx there.

She moved to meet her halfway, putting her arms around her. "Hello, Nyx...it has been some time, hasn't it?" she asked to her.

Nyx found great comfort in the arms of her love, she smiled as she saw her familiar bluish green hair and her beautiful eyes. She would relax into the hug letting the planet spin around her nothing out of place just the two of them there with each other.

She blushed as her love spoke to her, and then after a few moments she responded the wind blowing her hair "Too long dearest" her singsongy voice low

Vallory held her close, in a gentle hug. Putting her head next to hers, sighing happily. In her mind it was only them and the beach. Their beach. The blue haired woman pulled away from the hug, yet still held her for a moment. "Yes, too long. How have you been doing? I...I have been hearing terrible things in the galaxy" she said, a deep sadness and worry in her eyes. It worried her greatly hearing of all of this war and such.

"I have heard of many conflicts in the galaxy. Many deaths..." she sighed after saying so, turning her gaze away slightly.

Nyx sighed, it was true that there had been a great number of conflicts involving the empire she had sworn her allegiance to, they had been bloody and terrible, Nyx had seen her fair share of tragedy. "The stories are true, they were terrible, I am glad I had a mix of skill and luck. But all through out the battles I could only think of you" She said with yet another sigh looking out at the water "It sure is beautiful here"

Vallory found herself flushing a light shade of pink at that. Thought only of her? With the tragedy on her mind it was all swept aside at hearing that. She watched Nyx, her gaze resting on her. Taking in her features upon her face. She made no sound, holding her breath. Till she let it out, coming back at hearing of the water. "It...it is yes...very much so."

The sound of the waves lapping was soothing to the small woman, she quickly turned on her heel and came face to face with the woman she stood on her toes and gently kissed her lips "I love you"

Vallory turned to face Nyx. Only to find her suddenly right there, right before her in her face. Standing as tall as she could, and then their lips met. "I love you too, Nyx Tempest..." Vallory pulled Nyx right close to her, to meet her kiss. Closing her eyes into it. This she enjoyed. Holding her lover to her, holding her lips to hers. Lost in her feelings, and her feelings alone along side her lover. Then, she parted. "Do you like the place I brought us to?"

Nyx lingered in the kiss for a good while, loving how it felt to be loved and held by someone who cared for you, when she finally did pull back she spoke in response to the question just posed "I love it, it is beautiful"

Vallory smiled gently at the answer. She was glad that was so. She had picked this spot, and waited till dark came around to see it, due to their weakness to sun light. "It is a lovely place, why I chose it. I have always heard that Spira was one of paradise and tropical beauty. Wouldn't you agree?" she asked with a light fanged smile. There was much to see on this planet. But sadly, most of it was best to see in the daylight. And that was time they did not have.

"It certainly is lovely, I can see why you picked it my dear" Nyx said her fangs glinting in the moonlight, the package in her purse felt like it was getting heavier, but she knew it was only due to anticipation

Vallory put her forehead to Nyx's, holding her head to hers. Sighing happily, closing her eyes. Envisioning many things in her imagination. What a life this had become for her... "So, what shall we do? Order a dinner to come by? Sit here till the sunrise?" she suggested, looking to her for an answer. Although she did feel rather hungry for some food. "I can order something nice. Maybe a full picnic meal."

Nyx sighed gently as she was held, she smiled as the suggestion of food was made and said "I think that is a great idea my love" She said her voice just loud enough to be heard over the waves "I will find us a good spot"

Vallory nodded as she got her communicator out. She ordered a nice meal and had it so that they could track her comm if they needed to find their location. An automated transport was set to arrive at their location. Then she would follow Nyx. "I trust that you will find an excellent spot for us. I have this feeling there will be something special tonight, but...but I can't think of why" she said aloud over the waves.

Nyx had butterflies in her stomach as she lead her lover a little ways off the sand, towards a cave, but stopped short before they got there she found a nice spot to sit, under a couple of trees and close to the cave, she had recently actually purchased the land including this beach and the area surrounding it. "hey dear did I tell you I purchased this beachfront once I got the signal from your locator? So now I own all of this" she said sitting down

Vallory followed to the cave. And sat just outside it, looking about. And she looked to her, surprised by that. "N-Nyx? Really? But...but how much did that cost you?" she asked to her partner. She was mildly shocked to hear that, wondering just how much she had even spent on it. "You should have told me, I could have pitched in! Stardust has a lot and she shares it with me. I could have...tell me this is the last surprise tonight" she said, putting one of her hands over hers.

"Yes really, as for how much it cost, dont worry about it, I have more than plenty. And this is not my last surprise dear" She said gently laying her head on her shoulder

Vallory huffed quietly at that. "You spent a lot, didn't you?" She then crossed her arms, but she couldn't be mad. She couldn't stay mad at how much she spent as Nyx laid her head on her shoulder. An arm went around her shoulder. "Well no more costly surprises after this night, okay?" she asked, hoping that Nyx would never go over a budget with prices. "If you do I will find out about it" she said with a light grin. There was a low hum as the transport was making it's arrival.

Nyx grinned thinking about the quite costly surprise that was sitting not 5 feet from them in her purse, as the girl put her arms around her shoulders she smiled and looked up at the transport "No promises"
