Appearance: Rather short and stocky for a Muun, as he has some human ancestry as well. Has rather large eyes and a small mouth which always seems to be in a thoughtful expression. Also has burn scars on both arms.
Bio: Sango Alvarez was born on the planet Scipio as the only child of a rather boring pair of bank accountants. As he lived a rather unremarkable childhood, Sango studied hard and as soon as Sango was ready to go to college, he picked Gorendab University, one of the most prestigious academies on the planet. He earned degrees in chemical science, deep space exploration, and theoretical physics during his studies there. He also was involved in a nasty accident with a burner that left him with burn scars and a pathological fear of fire during this time. He eventually got a job as the director of the Department Of Unexplained Phenomena Hunting And Research, a.k.a. DOUPHAR in the Galactic Alliance as he hated the idea of working a boring financial job like his parents. Unfortunately, due to cost cuts, he was eventually left as the only member of the department. Now Sango mostly investigates the unexplained mysteries of the universe on his own, but occasionally runs into helpful others or hires out assistants.
