Now the ruling party of Sanjin the Optimatiums lead by Jasol Dorsian seek to bring their world back onto the galactic stage in the Alliance and to ensure never again while people exploit and sell off the natural resources of Sanjin.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
- Hierarchy: The Optimatiums are lead by the Governor Admiral who is advised by a council which consists of leaders from major cities, the military, the police, influential companies and other important institutions. When not in power the structure is exactly the same but instead they are lead by the party leaders and the council consists of influential party members from all around Sanjin.
- Membership: Approximately 25% of Sanjini's hold party membership with many more loyal to the new government. Seeking membership Sanjin citizenship is mandatory and this can be attained through military service. For native Sanjini's citizenship is automatic but failure to complete National Service will have citizenship revoked.
- Climate: Militaristic, Patriotic, Nationalist
- Reputation: Wary. While on Sanjin they are celebrated most off world are skeptical. The corrupt but democratic government has been disbanded and people can only wait and see as to where the Optimatium will go now they are in power.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Tracing their lineage back to the Galactic Empire, the Optimatium party is the successor to the former Imperial Government of Sanjin, with many ideals and philosophies being directly carried over. Following the collapse of the Empire the party fell into decline and it was here that the Imperials were voted out and established the early iterations of the Optimatium party. For hundreds of years they were a fringe group, never achieving much except for inciting riots and causing trouble. But in 860 ABY the party is back on the rise as more and more people began to realise how bloated and corrupt the democratic party had begun. Membership began to branch out into the military and with this a sharp rise in power. Soon the Optimatiums found they had the ability to do something and so they did.
The first phase was the cleansing. The military was rid of all corrupt officers, many simply disappearing or winding up dead. Most major institutions saw similar activity with all vacant positions being taken up by Optimatiums or pro-Nationalists individuals. The Governor who was blinded by his own greed hadn't noticed the deaths and instead had been busy extorting the last independent miners. Phase two could now begin. Throughout the weeks following the deaths of so many government officials there were rumours defence force ships had left their posts and had descended into the planet. Sighting of Cruisers and frigates among the clouds of gas began to put people on edge, so much so the Governor Mit Dodt finally noticed something was not right. The final phase could now begin. The Optimatium Leader Admiral Dorsian went to meet the governor. It was no secret the Admiral despised the bloated Nemodian and many were unsure of what would occur. 3 hours later when the doors of the Governor's office opened Jasol sat at the governor's chair he proclaimed Governorship of Sanjin had been passed to him leaving many to wonder what happened to Mit Dodt. Many believe he decided to take 'walk among the clouds' while others believe he fled but no is sure.
With the Optimatiums now in power sweeping reforms were brought to Sanjin. The values of Duty and Sacrifice were placed at the forefront of peoples mind and a process of militarisation and modernisation begun. Almost every institution with the ability to enforce law saw an enforcement branch added, the defence Force had their entire fleet modernised. Tibinna gas mining operations were brought back under Sanjini control, leaving many disgruntled offworlders who had bought mining rights from the previously corrupt government. The Optiumatum is now ready to continue their reforms and to make the name of Sanjin known.
