Santora Cove is one of iBorg's most critical research and manufacturing sites. Its security relies on four factors: A comprehensive, multilayered active and passive sensor suite; the planet's defense forces on speed dial; a powerful shield generator; and an elite, cybernetically enhanced security force. iBorg constructed Santora Cove after the sinking of Ahto City. The gigantic site became fully operational in 851 ABY, not long after Ahto City's reconstruction. Santora Cove became a linchpin site for iBorg's expansion. Most of iBorg's founders, executives, and board members are Selkath, so the company's local roots go deep. The bulk of Santora Cove's employees are Selkath as well.
In recent years, iBorg has benefited from Manaan's peace and stability under the aegis of the Silver Jedi Order. Santora Cove is a respectable employer and Manaan has profited from its presence - not just monetarily, but in the Selkath people's access to top-quality medical prosthetics.
