OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Designed as a field repair kit that can be attached to soldiers in the field. It is specifically designed like a patch system where the ingots when activated are heated to make the material malliable then applied to the armor to cover and bond over breaches or damage that can compromise the integrity of the armor. It isn't replacement or instant fixing but more of a bandaid that can be applied until the armor can be properly repaired. At least that was the main goal of it and largely it has stayed like that... the alloy used is not saber resistant but it more focused and better as a means to be shaped and filling gaps or spread out to create a seal.

- Field Repair: Designed less as an instant repair and more of a patch system. THe ingots themselves are able to fill in and cover damage or breaches
- Patchwork: The ingots are not really protective they won't instantly repair the armor... they are more to help get back out of the field temporarily. The material used is not as strong generally as the metals used butit will hold together for around two hours.
