- Advanced Systems: Designed with several notable systems installed on the shipsto improve their capabilities and turn the jedi into a needed operational fighter.
- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- Sleg: A powerful energy enhancer, the sleg absorbs and channels the excessive heat generated by the chassis of the speeder. Making them maintain a stronger level of power but also increases the chances that they could explode from the heat.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Gravity: The advanced thrusters of the vehicle require gravity to function at full efficiency. Without it there can't counter gravity to get speed or thrust for the high speed movement.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
Designed based on old military carriers. The Saotome Armored transport is a beast for its size sporting heavier plating and included shiled built into it. A highly modular interior that works to the advantage of the crew that are using it. The open interior and the mounted guns that cover the corners present a reduction in weapons built into the transports. in fact to make room for more of the systems and stronger materials the general cargo, troop, weapons, speed and base of the transport has been drastically reduced. A performance booster designed to let it for a small moment if it is needed get a speed boost. The boost isn't really that helpful in combating and evading but to get around in a pinch, the hardened plating over the heavy and protective frame.
The transport has been worked on for the years developing better materials and testing what worked. They developed this along with a second model... a jedi version that would be exclusive to them. The transport is still massive and able to wade into a firefight with its heavy armor and weapons able to fight. THe transports can link of and be ready for anything to make a convoy to protect strike terams and groups as needed or in the belly of the transport they can hold a number of refugees to protect them and get them out of dangerous situation. The overly engineered design to make it a heavy jack of all trades providing weapons and armor but lacking speed and turning to protect the people.
