Made by Saotome for their ships, a rapid means of deploying armored vehicles and setting up a small command post with soldiers and droids in it. THe initial design is simple and very much like the old model designs on the rapid deployment pods with mostly the interior mapping designed for the Saotome equipment instead of At-St's or At-Ats just the simple things. Room for soldiers, jedi, and support staff are still there, protected storage supply rooms for munitions and spare equipment. Recovery beacons that can be used for the pods to be recovered to the ship or taken off world. It can't carry some of the larger Saotome vehicles such as a siege platform but its large 150m self propelled artillery can be carried and brought down three to a pod (on top of each other) with the machine bays needed to change the cannons for it. Its other vehicles can be put into various divisions for themselves from large to small depending on how many are normally grouped together. (squardon count in sub) It has minimal countermeasures but can be deployed following a locator beacon to try and get the pods as close to a deployment site as possible.
With heavier works done by Sasori and newer models created, Sala'dine overhauled the rapid deployment pods that will serve as forward operating bases able to be deployed from ships. THe internal workings of them designed to operate and function substantially on their own with food production, water recycling, medical labs and defensive systems. For internal as well as external use. Collected stars are used to create and have a defensive measure from slicing and intruders coming to the base. Logistical suites to get connection and views from monitoring stations and drones that can be used to oversee an area. Sala'dine took care for the soldiers that would be able to really be used by the jedi, second fleet and paladins. Other groups who might require the need to be set about. The overhauls though have been incorporated in the pods and act as a means for what can be done with other drop pods.

- Laminanium: Designed like a Quellian ship the hull of the orbital platforms has a thin layer of the material to improve repairs and over time depending on the amount of damage it is able to patch itself up.
- Modular: WHile it comes with several areas built into it for various vehicles and walkers the drop pods themselves have an almost universal connector so they can be deployed from the underside of a number of ships.
- Operating Base: Designed for rapid deployment and defensive measures, the pods can be dropped on a planet to crerate a grid and deploy vehicles as well as armor support.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
- Like a Rock: Designed as a deployable forward operating base. The pods are rarely abel to be recovered and are highly staationary.
- Self Repairing: Built with a protective layer to patch the vehicle in the event of damage. The time table is dependent upon the amount of damage with smaller tears being easier and faster to repair then gashes which can take hours to reform.
- Note: Only the layer can repair not the full plate armor itself the plating can be damaged still but the underlayer of Laminanium can reform and remain.
