Sala'dine
Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Designed by Saotome as a modified version of the leech cannon, it uses previous designs for ideas but taken in a different direction with energy enhancing and conversion components. The second part of it is to increase the range with the energy output of the beam. Taking some notes from a jamming beam for directed weapons and cutting tobal lens to convert heat generated into more energy.
The inclusion of them was a beneficial point that needed to be made as the old model lens were effective for powering ships better then some reactors. Finally Sala'dine and the eingineers at Saotome worked on what would be the biggest part of it. Miniturization... to scale it and compact it for use on vehicles in the field or starfighters to surprise and run a screen... or have several on a ship itself like a battery that could be used to target multiple vessels.
Sala'dine has worked with many more of her engineers in the second fleet and Sasori to develop and redevelop the Mora cannon... thick and powerful with a feature few use aside from Gir Quee and the directorate. The flame projector has been refined to be used on more ships in the second fleet and able to be put on other ships as a threat with heavy safety measures. It is generally treated like a vanguard cannon with locks in place that only lets it be used when there is no other choice.
- Intent: To create a version of the leech shield cannon for Saotome

- Primary Source:
- Manufacturer: Saotome Foundry
- Affiliation: Company Name (Sasori Research)
- Market Status: Closed-Market
- Model: Non-Lethal Cannon
- Modularity: Designed to be mounted on vehicles or ships
- Production: Mass-Produced
- Material:
- Classification: Cannon
- Size: Large
- Weight: Heavy
- Ammunition Type: Power Capacitor
- Ammunition Capacity: Extremely Small
- Effective Range: Battlefield
- Rate of Fire: Very Low
- Damage Output: Very High
- Recoil: None
- Designed to work against fighters
- Designed to tractor Larger ships
- Overwhelming Force: Designed as a weapon for orbital striking and devastation.. there is little subtle about raining fire down upon a city.
- Laminanium: Designed to repair stress and from prolonged use micro fractures.
- Build up: Spinning up the batteries takes awhile, so that it can be maintained and used as a means to pick and either pull in or repel ships
- Single Shot: It isn't made to rapid fire, once it is on the tractor beams or pressor beams are on and need to be turned off
- No Tracking: The battery is designed more like a shotgun style approach. When used previously by the chiss it worked best to find and stop stealth ships that wouldn't be expecting it or have counter measures to escape. It mostly relies on blind firing off to create an area ot beams
- Self repairing: While it can repair its own micro stress fractures the capabilities can take days to hours depending on how damaged they become from use.
