Designed by Saotome based off of two types of shielding technology. A resonance shield and a model of melee shield. Designed to be used for kinetic absorption. The resonance shield technology is designed to absorb energy. Some tweaks to function with kinetic energy making it more like a particle shielding style. This lets normal energy pass through. This makes it effective in only a few situations such as mass drivers, charrics, shatter rifles, masers and slug throwers. As a counter part to the resonance energy shield to give overlapping and stronger deflector shields.

- High Kinetic Energy Absorption: Designed to absorb and dissipate kinetic impact energy using the same principles as a melee shield. The faster an object travels the more energy is absorbed to reinforce the shield.
- Overly Engineered: Designed to absorb kinetic energy and protect from physical impact. The resonance shield is an overly designed melee shield using the impact from physical objects that are fast moving to reinforce itself and stay charged.
- Energy: Designed strictly to handle physical impact and kinetic energy. Traditional energy weapons pass through it.
- Speed: Designed to absorb kinetic impact and the faster the better. Slow moving objects don't set off the shield being able to pass through.
