- Onboard Material AI: Designed as a highly explosive slug with micronized computers. Specifically for locking on targets which is done with a weapons scope. Each slug is then keyed to home in on that target using micro repulsors be it organic or inorganic.
- Smart Ammo: Overly engineered ammo that is meant to be highly explosive and with built in micro repulsors and single target sensors. Once locked it will follow the biometric signature of the target. Metals in armor, DNA of a being, pheromones.
- Distance: Designed to be fired as a quarrel from a railgun. This gives it incredible distance and accuracy for several moments before it starts to drop from gravity.
- Like a rock: The quarrel is fired at such velocity that it can smack someone back when it impacts into them or potentially cause kinetic damage along the bone that will shatter it. With armor it can punch through lesser quality materials and the higher grade depends on the materials and protective qualities from kinetic impact alone.
- Limited capacity memory: Designed to be locked onto a single target with its small sensors. They can be fooled or blocked and the slugs would become inert.
- Biometric Sensors: Designed to follow a biometric lock on and curve or move to chase the target. it can't navigate hall ways and thome in on ships but it can chase around corners if they are running.
- Requires a Gravity Field: Designed with repulsors that require a gravity field. Which limits their use to either planets or within artificial gravity.
Designed to be one of the next generations of Atrisian ammunition. The Wick ammo is a main alternative to the shifter ammo... where that is made for breaking down and handling a problem fairly quietly... these are made to smash and destroy. With small inbuilt computers and sensors that use a biometric scope to select and lock onto a target. The slugs can use micro repulsors to navigate and track the target at high speeds. While it can't navigate through a base and needs more or less a visual of the target. It can turn around and follow around corners or curve around a person. To hit another behind it. The explosives packed into the slug make it heavy, the repulsors also require being within a gravity field to use as it needs something to push against. The limited AI in it is with a small amount of memory so once it is locked onto a target the shots are useless for other targets.
