DESCRIPTION The Sarapin fire engine is borne from the experience of fighting the Bryn'adul on Nadiem and elsewhere. The Sarapin is outfitted with two configurations: one for throwing pressurized CryoBan at entrenched/massed enemies, and another one for spewing fire. It also proved useful in flushing out enemies from entrenched positions. Also, to defend against both infantry and aircraft, the Sarapin features four light hypervelocity cannons. However, changing the main battery configuration is a lengthy process. Because of the inherent weakness of the short-ranged main battery, the Sarapin is vulnerable from long range, and also, to limit friendly fire, commanders wishing to use Sarapins must use them at the vanguard. Plus, in adverse wind conditions, the throwers could be turned against their users, so it should not be deployed in massed formations, and support elements must be spaced out. For this reason, it was deemed useful to have the Sarapin outfitted with ERA.

Quick question, How can this be "Anti-Aircraft" when the range of the cryoban is 250 meters, and the other weapons you have are used as Squad support weaponry? Neither of the weapons are listed as being viable against Aircraft. Vehicles? Sure. But air craft is listed no where other than this submission.

Vora Kaar Vora Kaar The Kaeshana-II may read as a squad assault weapon, but real-world weapons the size of Kaeshana-IIs with similar characteristics (firing rate, caliber) were, in fact, used in CIWS (i.e. point-defense) or anti-aircraft. So I would expect the Kaeshana-II to be used in either application as well.

Yes, it can depress low enough to engage infantry or unarmored vehicles. Just that, since firing arc-based characteristics (including but not limited to weaknesses) are often ignored in ground combat, I assumed, given the above, the Kaeshana-IIs could elevate high enough to be viable as either CIWS or anti-aircraft.

I know that some "Squad Support" weapons should they have a high enough calibur would work against smaller aviation crafts. Such vehicles exits. One that comes to mind is the American Humvee.

In practice? Sure your weapons would likely work as a CIWS. I can let it slide for now.

Future submission I suggest specifically state this capability

Approved.
