Designed by Sasori for the jedi temples, as there is usually one or two who are musically inclined and skilled. So a means for them to practice the force and in the case of the field they are able to do many other feats. Matsu herself worked to make sure there was at least one in the main temples she had worked to restore and build or rebuild. In locations of interest that the jedi themselves are able to access or use to train. It is like many of the other artifacts but beneficial in a niche sense since it is for those rare few jedi like Nico and her wife or some who left the order.
