OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Sautra Vokh Archives Gallery
  • Classification: A virtual library with displays like a museum.
  • Location: Located in the Southern hemisphere in the core region of the station of Sautra Vokh.
  • Affiliation: Akhuul Sautra
  • Accessibility: It is located in the inner layers of Sautra Vokh, which makes it incredibly difficult to access for people of the greater galaxy. The station of Sautra Vokh itself is usually located in areas with minimal to no activity of outsiders, which makes the archive gallery isolated from outside visitors. Secondly, located in the innermost region of the southern hemisphere of the station, invited guests (as rare as they would be) would have to be directed to this location due to the laborynthine layout of the main corridors. Finally, due to the inner location, invaders would have to fight through nearly all layers of the Sautra Vokh security system, the various patrols of Derumic Android Soldiers in the main corridors, as well as having to navigate the labyorinthe of corridors to this point.
  • Description: This large chamber is a massive hall located in the southern hemisphere of the more core-ward layer of Sautra Vokh. While the Sautra Vokh archives is more present in the Sautra Vokh network. there are also some more physical artifacts that Akhuul Sautra deemed as worth preserving just as much as the virtually recorded information. Along the walls, ancient Sith tablets from Akhuul's estate, pieces of ancient Sith warrior armor from Akhuul's army from before the transferrance into the Derumic Android bodies, ancient Sith weaponry, robes formerly worn by Akhuul and the Lords as well as the Scribes, and many more common ancient Sith artifacts that have been perfectly preserved unlike artifcats found elsewhere. The large atrium-like hall is dark from the dark metal, and the only light being the ghostly red glow from glyphs describing the displays and any lamps that are inlaid in some of the walls. Another source of such light would be the access terminals to the Sautra Vokh archives predominatly used by the Derumic Android Scribes.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The artifacts are the major points of interest of this, while the access terminals make up the other points of interest. The artifacts are hardly useful, and are simply relics from Akhuul and his estate's history from before the Great Hyperspace War. In several displays, suits of ancient Sith warrior armor, ancient Sith warblades, robes formerly worn by Akhuul and his apprentices from before the transferrance, and then numuorous tablets detailing histories of both Akhuul's estate's time on Korriban (including the histories of Akhuul's predecessors).

SECURITY
High: Its internal location within the station of Sautra Vokh makes for it to be incredibly secure. It's location allows the laborynthine layout of Sautra Vokh's corridors to be used to its advantage. Invaders would have to navigate the layout of the corridors to get to this point. Another note is that this is not the most strategic target for invaders. It is very likely that invaders to the station are more interested in taking out Akhuul and the Lords rather than artifact hunting for perfectly preserved Sith artifacts or trying to research the database of galactic history witnessed by the androids with great amounts of bias from the archivists. Furthermore, the method of the security system operated by Akhuul and the Lords would be the most prevalent form of security aside from the patrols of Dermumic Android Soldiers. In the gallery, there is little security, however. There are a handful of soldiers standing guard in order to prevent thievory from any invited guests, but no other forms of security outside of surveilence.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The history of the ancient Sith has nearly been destroyed time and time again from purges and simple looting from warfare. Akhuul Sautra, after retreating into exile, was keen on preserving as much of the Sith heritage he could due to his confidence in outliving all his rivals and enemies of the day. Originally, he only preserved the artifacts he owned from both his rule as a Sith Lord, as well as his predecessors (his master, his master's master, etc.). Such artifacts are what makes up the displays in the gallery of the Sautra Vokh Archives ("currently", as in, as of this post). For thousands of years these artifacts that Akhuul had in his possession as keepsakes of his estates past became revered as treasures as he watched pieces of Sith history be obliterated, purged, forgotten, neglected, fought over, and sought for by countless parties over the course of thousands of years. These artifacts remain in prestine condition to this day with their display chambers being perfectly sterile.

The artifacts originally on display in the gallery are not inherently powerful. The galaxy's technology has advanced greatly to the point of rendering the weapons and armor stored on the racks as obsolete. The stone tablets mostly are ledgers and historical accounts (albeit historical from Sith perspective) rather than physical tomes of force techniques, making them prized only to historians. Finally, the robes, jewelry, and valued trinkets stored are very ancient, and potentially very valuable, which makes them a possible target for robbers, yet that is if they could find Sautra Vokh and bypass the intense security to get to this very inward chamber of the station (considering said fortune hunters would know of these artifacts', as well as the station's, existence).

The gallery is not only a display for the physical artifacts kept by Akhuul Sautra. It also serves as a mass-interface point for Derumic Android Scribes, Lords, and Akhuul to interface with the Sautra Vokh network to access the informational aspect of the archives. Terminals to access the digital archives dot the hall located near the display chambers. The common occupants of the hall would be the Derumic Android Scribes in charge of keeping track of the artifacts and the Derumic Android Soldiers that stand guard throughout the chamber or patrol around its perimeter.

Recently (referring to as of this post), the gallery has had preparations for storing more artifacts. Areas of the floor and wall space have been designated as potential spots for new display chambers as Akhuul has grown to taking up a mission of perserving Sith heritage. Following his exile from Sith Space during the beginning times Great Hyperspace War, and after years of watching the Sith cyclically rise and fall in power over the galaxy, Akhuul has become jaded in regards to Sith dominance. However, he believes the the Dark Side must always linger, and the best way to insure that would be to preserve as much Sith heritage as he can to make sure that the ways of the Sith continue to be revered and feared by the galaxy.
