PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Savara has adopted the belief that the Sith has become merely a dark mirror of the Jedi, that they no longer are pure in the dark side, copying almost everything from the Jedi when they were suppose to become the opposite of the Jedi. In her quest to find a new path in the dark, or rediscover an old one, she came across Kylo Ren's words, "the Sith, the Jedi... let the past die. Kill it, if you have to. That's the only way to become what you are meant to be." She has adopted this as a mantra, the the way forward as an acolyte of darkness is to move past the past, and seek the dark side fresh, in the here and now, rather than try to adopt the ideals of dead lords. This has made her become labeled a heretic, a Dark Jedi, a term she loathes, because of her beliefs.
STRENGTHS
Duelist:
Using a Crossguard Saber requires an extra level of difficulty in combat, and this has made her hone her skills as a duelist.
Pioneer:
Because she is not trying to live up to codes and old traditions, she is more open to newer concepts and ways of learning, meaning she is a excellent candidate for the esoteric, for learning "The Unnatural."
Spirited:
Savara is very spirited, she has a thirst for adventure, and lets nothing, not even fear, stand in her way. If she wants to do something, she will do it.
WEAKNESSES
Reinventing The Wheel:
In her search of the dark side she unwittingly is exploring some things already established by the dark lords, so in a sense she is just re-discovering some things, which makes it humorous when she confronts more traditional Sith who tilt their head and expose that she could have learned that from a holocron or text.
Flaunting Tradition:
Her zeal not to follow in footsteps of the past makes her rather antagonistic towards what is considered sacred by others. She does not commit iconoclasm, or go Darth Gavid on Sith relics, she just has no interest in them and offends a lot of those who revere the objects and history.
HISTORY
Savarra was born on the volcanic planet of Nevarro. There she grew up in the rather prosperious and peaceful planet which made his sick to her stomech. It was to her absolute delight that she discovered an underground, where bounty hunters still held a guild that was said to be on the surface during the time of Din Djarin. It was hanging out in this den of hunters that she began to learn about life off world, and she became a member of guild, though her young age meant all she could do was be spotter for some less talented bunters, in this she honed her skills, which she later learned was The Force, allowing her to discern a bounty was hinding beneath floor boards, or helping her Hunter spot them with their sniper. Eventually she began to get so good at even capturing those brought in "warm," that she was made at sixteen an offical Bounty Hunter.
As she began to hunt, she discovered her power, able to subdue a bounty with an extension of her hand, and tossing foes with a thrust of her hand. She became aware that this was The Force, the dark side in specific, and she grew in its strength, changing her search from heads to unlocking her talents further. It was in this period that she forged her crossguard lightsaber, and discovered a lost holocron of Kylo Ren, who urged her not to learn from the old Sith Lords on Korriban, rather ot adopt an philsophy that the Sith and Jedi need to end, and a new order needs to rise, in which the dark side is unshackled, unchained, and fully able to manifest in its acolytes. It was in this revelation that she abandoned the idea of going to the Sith Academy, and joining the conflicts between the Jedi and Sith, "let them destroy themselves, they seem to be pretty good at it."
The philsophy of Ren so influenced her she decided to adopt the name Rend which means "to tear to pieces, and cause emotional pain," as she knew her path was want to do. Her aim is not to become a whole, but to be as broken as her weapon, splite into three blades, for it is in this shattered state that the greatest rage can rise and make one powerful!
