- Big Game: Stylized off of a older Outlander Slugthrower rifle, using technology of Mandalorians and the Chiss to create a slug that is sheathed in energy. Saylr Jinr is a weapon that can easily damage any kind of creature being hunted down, as well as be used as an effective long range weapon against shielded foes, or those who happen to be saber jockeys. Having a massive kinetic impact coupled with Ion energy that has been overloaded. Typically producing burns akin to a Charric Mauser. A devastating rifle in the hands of a Mandalorian.
- Wings of a Fly: A bolt-action rifle style of weapon is well known for its ability to be extremely accurate. Having so precise shots at a long range, that one could in theory, hit a wing off of a fly with the slug. However, this is mostly determined by the wielder, and dependent upon the situation one is firing from.
- Toggle: In place of safety, it was changed to allow a toggle operation of the weapon in "Safe," "Slug," and "Charged" shots. Allowing the wielder to fire just a slug round, or to have the round charged in a sheath of energy. Giving a multipurpose for the weapon to be used in conventional big game hunting, or to hunt down some bounties.
- Come on, come on!: As a bolt action rifle, it requires manually cycling the bolt of the weapon after each round is fired. Thus severely reducing the fire rate of the weapon to become dependent upon how fast the user can fire, remove their hand from the forward stock, operate the bolt, then get back on target with their aim. Thus, close quarters is severely limited in its operation. Only able to get one shot off before a Lightsaber wielder, or a close combatant is upon you.
- Slogging: A heavy rifle, while good for using the buttstock as a tool to bash in a skull, is still heavy. Meaning its not a rifle one would want to carry for a long period of time without using a sling, or having on some form of aid.
- Internal Mag: Due to the construction of the weapon, the physically slugs need to be loaded by hand in the form of a "Clip" that holds the rounds together so that they can be pushed down through the chamber and into the internal magazine. This process is slower than a typical "box" magazine, and requires the operator to correctly load the weapon by shoving the rounds in. Doing so incorrectly can jam the Magazine spring, injure the user, or end up with rounds not cycling through the rifle properly.
Growing up on the planet of Kiffex, Tarre Priest and his family have used Outlander rifles for a number of years. Mainly for putting food on the table, but also to prevent predatory creatures from harming their livestock. Reliable weapons that were used by many backward pirates, or planets, the weapon it is based off of has been modified by Tarre with many parts replaced or completely reforged for the specific purpose of making an even more reliable rifle that can be used not just for its original purpose of hunting, but also as a tool of combat. Namely being able to reach long ranges in which can be used against Jedi, or Sith that he could face.
