SPECIAL FEATURES
 • Extendable Shield
 • Magnetic Seal
 • Droid Sensor
Strengths:
 • Heavy Shielding: The SB-1 has heavy metal armor upon the front of it’s body. The metal shield can extend outwards like a fan, but the droid must clamp down against the ground, or a wall or ceiling with its magnetic sealing. The shield is large enough to cover infantry, but nothing larger.
 • Turret Mode: The SB-1 can plant down on a surface, and act as an automated turret with it’s heavy blaster cannons and magnetic clamp.
 • Firepower: SB-1 droids carry heavy firepower. Can get through plenty of lines of infantry, especially when planted upon the ground which they can fire with a more focused line of fire.
Weaknesses:
 • Slow: The SB-1 is a rather slow moving unit, due to it’s heavy shield armor. It moves slowly across the battlefield, making it an easy target to artillery.
 • Immobile: Once planted into turret mode the SB-1 can only turn so far and cannot avoid heavy fire such as artillery. They take time to pack back up into mobile mode.
DESCRIPTION
The SB-1 droids were designed by the combined effort of WD-334 and [member="Rex Taff"]. It was designed for the front lines of combat as infantry support with heavy armor and heavy weaponry. They could take the brunt of enemy infantry fire as well as act as cover in return against enemy lines.
They were armed with two-triple-barreled Heavy Blaster Cannons and a heavy extending shield. The shield would activate upon planting against a surface with it’s magnetic clamp. Once planted the shield is extended to provide cover to infantry, as well as turn with in 120 degrees in front to continue providing heavy weapons support. In this position the droid ends up in a vulnerable state from artillery and weapons fire from the rear.

[member="WD-334"] As Laminanium is a Restricted Material, the max production for this would have to be Semi-Unique. So the Laminanium will have to be removed or the production brought down. Unless this is meant to be some other material.

[member="Zef Halo"] It's a physical metal shield that flips up and extends out, like a fan almost. And the shield can cover enough for infantry, but can't cover say, a tank.
