Scaly!

Greetings,


I'm looking to get this photo altered with some scales looking a bit like this picture there. Being the kid is half-human, I doubt the scales would be as large or widespread as the second picture, but *shrugs* you're the artist. They don't even have to match the second picture, its just a rough idea to show the direction/type I'm looking for. No other alteration would be needed besides some smattering of scales.

Hmm....Less reptile and more mermaid....er....merboy? I found a different image. If you're still stumped look over at [member="Thessa Kai"] 's avatar for a better idea of what I'm striving for. Don't need the kid totally covered in fish scales, just kinda a few patches

It doesn't look as if [member="Uri Aureleos"] has been around As Makai is getting older, I'm in need of having another picture re-scaled...cause ya know, half-fish.

Ok I have two choices for you. The first is just the scales the second I also made the eyes the same color as the scales:

The template I use for his scales. Instructions are at the top so anyone with photoshop can apply if they just take the time. (I literally just made it twice as easy for the next person while at the same time keeping little Makai fluid and as canon as pic one.)

I most likely won't delete this from photobucket but save it to your computer or something just in case. Take care now.

Sweet, you came back just for me (although you know, you could come back and play with us too....) ^_^ I love both of 'em and I'll save both but I'll probably use the eye one.


Also, you're way too kind for giving me the scale template. I have a semi-fried laptop with photoshop on it, so when the funds come together for its repair....BAM....scale template that is cohesive. I truly, deeply appreciate this gift and I certainly won't forget it at all. You've been way too kind to me, thanks for being an awesome person

For the eyes I put color #00ccff (I put it on the template pic as well. The top blue is the color believe it or not.) over the eyes set to either color or overlay at 90% opacity. erase the part of the color over pupil. Not hard.

It's no problem. I love doing the art.
