BIOGRAPHY:
The family of Stanley were among the biggest and riches of the planet Sereno. They'd apparently gained their fortune through gambling and sheer luck as some of the other greater Sereno families would gossip but the Stanley's themselves thought it was just the jealous fact that they were off-worlders who'd managed to establish themselves so quickly on a more high-society type of planet. The Stanley Family itself was great in number as it was in power, all the older members having some sort of business control on Sereno from shipping to foods and so forth. Almost every corner of the planet had the name of Stanley involved.
Edger Stanley, one of the middle-siblings, and his wife Delores had seven children, the youngest daughter being Mabel. While she was the youngest daughter she was only the third youngest sibling, the other two being her twin brothers, Jacob and Dean. There was also her eldest sister, and oldest of the children, Margret, her eldest brother and second oldest, Glen, the next brother, Archie, and the next sister before Mabel, Winnifred. While like most large sibling families they did not always get along they did still care for one another deeply.
All of them had taken to different professions they wanted for their own futures. Margret planned to join in the senate and work as a possible representative for Sereno itself. Glen wanted to follow in the star-ship business his father ran on Sereno. Archie was something of a historian, hoping to both excavate and teach galactic history. Winnifred was in designing like her mother. And even Jacob and Dean had plans to be engineers for droids and ships, as the two had a love of building things; even if it meant knocking them down two minutes later just to make a bigger one. Mabel however was something of a wandering conundrum. She wasn't sure what profession she sought as all of her sibling's jobs didn't seem exciting enough for her.
During the Stanley's rising power many of the other families of Sereno became all the more jealous and worried they would grow too vast. A plan was needed for a hostile takeover and putting an end to the Stanely family. Permanently if need be.
One day the entire family of Stanley, including the extended relatives, had been gathered together for a family reunion. During the celebration Mabel's favorite aunt, Selma, gave her a new coat and hat that she loved for its design. She would come to treasure it as her symbolic attire. While the entire event was a great one it was, however, short lived when the families had hired assassins to destroy the family.
When the attack broke out Mabel was the only one to survive. Her entire family was killed before her eyes and all she could do was run. As far as anyone else knew however she was dead along with the rest of the Stanley family.
Only a few years later a majority of the Sereno family's business were being robbed by an unknown thief. Thousands upon thousands of credits and goods were stolen by a criminal only known as 'Scarlett', as indicated by the color of her coat and hat all pictures of her were able to catch. She'd become a planet-wide known criminal for one of her biggest thefts of a star-ship freighter right out from under one of their noses. No one could ever identify her and she never left any sort of trail.
In her final act the woman known as Scarlett had giving the ultimate crime: bringing all the family heads who caused the death of the Stanley's together and making them watch as all their credits were stolen right from under them. To add insult to injury she had it all spread out to the other less fortunate of Sereno, leaving her ultimate calling card as a thief of fortune and glory above anything else. Now with a ship of her own Scarlett decided to take her antics elsewhere in the galaxy.
Mabel Stanley had died that day along with her family. She may have been the only one to survive but she knew there was no chance of returning if it meant being hunted by the men who took her family before. She'd found refuge with a group of smugglers and thieves who showed her the way. One of them, the Bothan leader, had called her Scarlett because of her hate and coat she would never stop wearing. That was how the name was born. Mabel Stanley was gone forever but Scarlett was just getting started.
