-Outrider: The Schockwellenreiter are some of the finest hooverbike pilots the galaxy has ever seen, able to pilot said bikes at high speeds in almost any kind of area with near perfect precesion, as well as fighting while doing so.
-Survivalists: Years of war have taught them how to survive on their own with very little, allowing them to work without any backup behind enemy lines, living with what the world around them grants them.
-Mechanics: They are also skilled in repairing almost all kinds of technology with relative ease.
-Sniper: Sniper Rifles are their weapon of choice, after using their bikes to get in postion. They are skilled in picking of tragets from far away, and prefer to do so if possible.
Weaknesses:
-Faulty Gear: The Schockwellenreiter refuse to uprgrade or replace their gear, and instead keep repairing what they have. While they are quite skilled in that task, their tools and weapons have seen so many years by now that most of it is prone to malfuntion.
-Age and Trauma: Years of fighting various wars on various sides have not left the minds and bodies of the Schockwellenreiter unscarred. Not only limits their age them from time to time, the mental trauma is what really pains them. They are known to panic or go completly ballistic should one of their members be killed or severly injuried during a mission.
-Drug abuse and Addiction: Part of their Trauma is a long history of drug abuse, and it far from unheard to meet the Schockwellenreiter in a state not fit for combat.[/SIZE]

The Schockwellenreiter look back at a long history of war. Roughly ten years ago a feared mercs group that has fought on pretty much any side willing to pay them they have seen nearly every corner of the galaxy through the scope of their sniper rifles. Yet the years did not left them unmarked, and so they found their way to the Free Cities of Katarr, where they, for once, were not a group looked down on for what and who they were.
Since their arrival there they were recruited by Darth Abyss to serve in his army with the offer of a permanent home once they would end their career as mercs, allowing them to use the absolute maximum of their skills until then.
In the field the act as a mix of reason and spec ops unit, using hooverbikes to get behind enemy lines. The Schockwellenreiter are also a quick response unit, always the first to see any ongoing engagement. Besides that they use their mobility to find the perfect position on the battlefield, utilizing their range to fight their targets outside of the enemies current reach.
