This is science fantasy land, and I'm not about to correct anything you can have what you like, however a point to remember is that SD's and SSD's basically run on crazy plasma nuclear cores. Energy from the sun unless you were right beside it would probably not be a good enough to -recharge- the reactor core. To be able to start it, or keep life support and essential systems on maybe. This is a suggestion, not a requirement.
