Capable of analyzing the flight data of enemy fighters to feed better targeting algorithms to point defense weapons it's connected to, as well as advising operators on what to target first on another vessel to inflict max damage
Especially geared to finding the best places to target on Bryn'adul vessels
STRENGTHS
Accuracy Intergalactic: Thrice the accuracy of most Star Destroyer Computer Targeting Systems, due to vastly improved modern software and imput from The Amalgam. It is capable of having a greater chance at using a Star Destroyer arsenal to hit something specific, frequently.
Critical Analysis: Complex Algorithms allow it to determine the best points to shoot at on an enemy vessel, especially if damaged. It also helpsdetermine the best time to start shooting (This is not perfect and can be defeated by unexpected manuevers) and can generally plot where to shoot when a vessel starts to move or even simply turn. This is dramatically increased when facing Bryn'adul ships due to specific algorithms for them
WEAKNESSES
Sensitive: Can easily be disrupted by Ion fire or standard jamming from nearby enemy starfighters
Longer repair time: If damaged, due to its delicate software, it can take longer than other critical components of a Star Destroyer to fix
Exterior Location: Placed on the exterior, close to the bridge tower. Usually has defenses placed around it for this reason, such as laser cannons, or starfighters

The Scion Targeting System Drastically increases the targeting capability of any capital vessel it's linked to, as well as any Starfighter it's scaled down for. Based on Sith Imperial schematics stolen by Darth Xiphos in the aftermath of the third battle of Ziost. An upscale version of the St2x Targeting Computer used by Xizor.
