During the Battle over Atrisia in 860 ABY between the Combined Forces of the Rogue Sith Lord Mythos and the Combined Jedi-Confederate Fleet , the Flagship of the Pro-Mythos Fleet blockading Atrisia made use of a Special Weapon , a Shield Disruption Projector in which was able to temporarily disable the shields of it’s targets for a few minutes being able to inflict some damage to the target vessel before it was able to put it’s shields back up though those shields were weakened significantly.
In possession of that very same vessel that utilized it’s Shield Disruption Projectors on Atrisia , Marlon Sularen began the development of an Advanced Model of the Shield Disruption Projector found on that vessel tasking his Engineers and Scientists to work on a Prototype for this Advanced Model that was intended to come to use for the Directorate.
When the Directorate collapsed , this Advanced model was at the end of it’s research phase and as Marlon Sularen joined the New Imperial Order he decided to present his idea to his peers to be able to utilize that technology against the Sith Empire in the New Imperial Order’s incoming war against the Sith. With the Prototype in it’s development phase , Marlon Sularen hopes to be able to utilize the Prototype against the Sith as a means to gain prominence within the New Imperial Order.

- Limited Range : Despite it’s capability of permanently disabling the shields of it’s Targets , the ScP 001 Advanced Shield Disruption Projector Prototype has a limited range and must be at a certain distance to it’s target to be able to effectively disable it’s shields permanently otherwise it would only have the standard effect of a Shield Disruption Projector and will only weaken the shields of the vessel rather then permanently disable it.
