STRENGTHS

• Law-Enforcement's Best Friend: Sporting not only a variety of versatile attachments but also a reliable rate of fire all the while maintaining a lower weight, the SD-C1 is ideal for urban or boarding combat and especially for law enforcement or military police services. While not the deadliest blaster on the market it is packed full of features perfect for usage in confined or even fairly open conditions with varying terrain proving little difficulty.

WEAKNESSES

• Low-Power: Due not only to certain attachments inherent to the carbine but also the modifications needed to preserve range and rate of fire alongside a larger magazine size, the damage output of the SD-C1 is notably lower than most common blasters. This is somewhat made up for due to its higher rate of fire but any decent armor or poor aim can easily counteract such a slight advantage.

DESCRIPTION
With a large portion of their initial market being based around planetary government forces it was inevitable that law enforcement would soon begin making requests for products from Sanguine Defense Works. However the design process for the SD-C1 wouldn't begin with such requests, but rather with input from Inquisition Troopers who had long been in need of standardized blasters. Great importance was placed upon features such as the cable launcher and the suppressor to aid in urban combat, although concessions regarding the actual power output of the weapon did have to be made which weakened it despite these attachments.

The SD-C1, while not exactly ideal as a battlefield weapon due to its decreased damage output, is a reliable and effective repeating carbine meant for usage in urban environments and interior spaces. This, as well as its assortment of attachments, makes it the perfect loadout for policing forces and even for boarding or salvaging forces due to its preference for close-quarters combat.
