- Ion-X: Stemming from the Baragwin Ion-X technology advancements, the SE-4 utilizes 'shaped energy' delivery system which means that each ion bolt also carries a concussive force with it.
Strengths:
- Technological Shredder: Although a single ion shot from the SE-4 does not carry much damage upon electronics, a barrage of it can significantly harm all sorts of electronics. It is capable of overwhelming shielding and hardened circuitry, thus leading to overloading systems, frying insides and completely disabling electronic systems. The SE-4 is a powerful tool against powered armors with numerous gadgets and tools such as typical Mandalorian Armor and against droids.
- Specialized Power: The SE-4 is certainly designed to disable and severly weaken units depending massively on their gadgets and technology along with droids. Although damage on flesh can be painful due to the energy, the SE-4 is definitely not a weapon you can expect to penetrate armor and deliver fatal blows upon organics. The concussive force is certainly a boost to the standard capabilities but it is definitely not comparable to standard kinetic impact from slugthrowers.
